Would recommend. Excellent Food
Excellent food . Simple and basic layout , but you can’t fault the food .. full of Italians , which is always a good sign .. excellent value for a capital city ..
Medium level lunch
The food is exactly as traditional as we anticipated and basically both the primi and the secondi wes well prepared, though somewhat heavy. At the same time the coturno (in this case fied potatos and a mixed salat) was rather disappointing; potatos
Excellent trattoria
Excellent local restaurant visited during our holiday to Rome. Delicious pasta. Friendly service. Tiramisu very good. Outdoor seating had a good vibe and was almost full when visiting on a Tuesday evening.
Da Cesare was the first dinner we had in Rome.
We specifically decided to go because of all of the reviews mentioning Carbonara and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Best carbonara we had in Italy by far. Only reason for four stars is the air conditioning was broken and with the service being a bit slower e
holy moly best carbonara i have ever had in my life.
.. made me emotional completely unpretentious environment. had some amazing unfiltered roman amaro to finish. wow.

The views were also beautiful. I definitely recommend having a meal here.

Delicious food.
Although the restaurant was packed and a bit stuffy and hot. Friendly service, close to train to take you to downtown Rome

Hands down one of the best restaurants we ate in throughout our trip to Italy. It's the perfect place to avoid flocks of tourists and dine amongst locals, probably because of its location out of the city center. Everything you order is delicious -

Finally got here and this instantly became one of our very favorites in Rome. The fried gnocchi in pecorino sauce was amazing, but to me the biggest stars of the apps were the incredible eggplant croquettes and absolutely perfect anchovies in olive o

Highly recommended by the conceirge at the Cavalieri and it did not disappoint. While off the beaten path it is well worth the trip to this primarily local spot. We split various appetizers including the calamari, the prosciutto and melon and bufal

Our first night in Rome, we were excited to go to an "authentic Roman trattoria." I always seek out places off the tourist path.. We felt unwelcome from the moment we walked in (though we had reservations). No greeting when waiter came to o

So amazing! Made the trek here for dinner and it was well worth it! Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu and waiters were so great and accommodating since we didn't have reservations (or speak much Italian).Thank you to everyone at Da Cesare who
A nice spot and great dinner up 9n the Gianicolo hill.
Great food and ambiance. Our group raved about the baccala and the ravioli. The millefoglie was heavenly. A taxi ride up to the Gianicolo but worth it. Not a tourist place at all. In fact we were the only ones there. A busy happening place. About $45.
Perfection
Perfection — food was excellent, the staff was very kind. Even though it was far from our hotel, it was worth going there.
This was my favorite restaurant in Rome.
I highly recommend the deep fried gnocchi in cacio e pepe sauce. That dish alone was perfection. The pastas were excellent, as well as the fish and deep fried eggplant fritters. Everything we ordered was delicious. Make sure you have a reservation. T
