THis place is NOT CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is now called Marathi Greek Bistro; it was reopened by son, Andy, the father passed away from Covid19 (one of the first persons I knew who passed from that dread pandemic) and his son and family took over the business! Please patronize this place. I visited the place last week and had a great dinner. They have breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner menu (<a href="/redir?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.marathinyc.com%2Fmenus%2F%23brunch-copy&s=c4f05cd095c77216a4589677e41a9b73261bb53cda670683629fb4142fd3e08b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">marathinyc.com/menus/#br…</a>) - great customer service!!!!!!!!!!! Support local businesses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless these people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had Thanksgiving dinner with my father at the Tribeca's Kitchen. The food was very good and delicious. However the sticker price was kind of shocking afterwards for a dinner for two. $186 for a meal wasn't worth that much.
Be the first to ReplyGreat brunch place! Wait time was around 15 minutes.
Food was delicious and the pumpkin spice chai latte was amazing!

I understand the proprietor passed away & his son has taken over. The menu I came to breakfast for is no longer served - which would have been the SAME OMLETTE I just paid $22 for only $15. Maybe it would have been ok had it been less greasy or unique. Won't come back even when it rebrands. Sorry for the loss.

Let me start off by saying brunch here is not bad, it's just not good. We were greeted and seated pretty quickly, but everything from that point on was slow. The interior decor was cute but nothing cuter than anywhere else in New York. The food was ok. A sliver of hash browns, some basic Benedict's (with over cooked eggs) and salad. The coffee was good but do not get the espresso spritz because you might vomit. My friend had a chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. He was the only one who enjoyed his meal. Moral of the story: get the chicken sandwich

A bit expensive for sure, but if you're willing to pay then this place is great! The food was sooooo delicious, I ordered the shrimp and grits. I sat outside and I have to say this place has the most impressive outdoor seating post-covid. It feels very homey and I appreciate the privacy. Looking forward to my next trip!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure to jump out of a taxi cab at 9:00 am for this delicious amazing breakfast. We had chicken waffles for the first time and it was the most delicious and succulent dish ever. The environment is so positive and the owner was there welcoming everybody. I will definitely go back many times when visiting the big Apple. Thanks !

Great service. Would definitely come back. Chicken & waffles has a bit of a kick. Pancakes were light and fluffy. Bring your appetite, great size portions.

The staff here are super nice, and the decor inside is pretty cute - you definitely feel like you're in an open, diner-like space. While I personally did like the food, I just felt like there were too few options, which were all highly priced. When you come in, the menu has about 10 different things you can chose from, half of which are sandwiches and half of which are breakfast items. The sandwiches - while good - are priced at 20+ for even the most basic ones, and the servings are particularly large. While that may definitely be someone else's cup of tea, I just didn't think it was worth it in my opinion! However, I did get the French onion sandwich, which was nice and crispy, with a great sauce. If you love American style dishes and food, I would recommend you check it out.

Unbelievable food and service! Food was so good for dinner we came back next morning for brunch. Chicken Parm was out of the world and you have to try the chicken and waffles! This is a must visit in Tribeca!!!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat place for breakfast (they're open early) and brunch.
They have a spacious outdoor dining area with both open air seating and covered cabanas (with fans inside!). The menu is short and sweet - the options consist of a couple of different omelets, French toast, pancakes, shrimp & grits and oatmeal. Their omelets are made in the French style (I guess this makes them "omelettes") where the eggs are super soft, creamy and just cooked and topped with minced chives. It's very similar to the omelets they serve at the Odeon except that these are cheaper. Most of the breakfast options also come with a side of hash brown and a lettuce salad. The hash browns are pretty special here - it's almost like a potato pancake with a crispy shell (that's like the traditional hash browns you'd see at a diner) with a soft interior. It's very good and I like that it stands apart from all the other hash browns you can get in the city.
