Vast Oklahoma City Reviews
Perfect spot for special date night, anniversary, or
Perfect spot for special date night, anniversary, or birthday! I had the halibut special and my husband had a steak and both really enjoyed the meal. Well priced as well. The service was superb, always available but not hovering and definitely not rushing us which we loved.
My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary.
It was our first time visiting here. The food was excellent. More so over our waiter was the highlight of the evening. I can't remember his name but he was great. We will definitely return soon.
They say that the best things in life come with a view
They say that the best things in life come with a view Vast is no exception! This New American fine dining & cocktail restaurant is located on the 49th floor of the Devon Tower and provides crazy good skyline views. The food was just as good as the panoramic view and everything came out perfectly. You know how you receive complimentary bread? I told them I was gluten free and they baked a fresh batch and brought it out still warm from the oven. The service could have been improved. We got there at the beginning of dinner and it took 27 minutes for us to receive our drinks after placing the order. The entree took a while as well. Overall, I've definitely saved this spot as a must visit anytime I'm in Oklahoma City!
Lovely evening and perfect anniversary
Surprisingly, my wife and I, had never been to Vast until last night. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was truly a lovely experience. Unlike some other fine dining restaurants, the dishes were complete and cohesive rather than ordering a main dish and piecing together side dishes. I appreciated that, if for no other reason, because it made the dining experience much less clunky and less tableware. The food met every expectation we would have of this caliber of restaurant. Our server is what really made the night special. He was thoughtful, personable and knowledgeable.
Disappointed, but the view is nice.
Vast was confusing. The cocktails, view, atmosphere, and the service were outstanding. The food however was marginal, at best. The best thing we ate was a mashed potato stuffed fried filo puff and we had filet mignon, salmon, roasted chicken, corn and potato chowder, and a few appetizers, including the charcuterie board. When it was presented, I was just done. Please see the charcuterie board presented to us from Vast. WOW.

Outstanding service, amazing view and incredible food & drinks! Recently went for Mother's Day brunch buffet and the staff at Vast outdid themselves! Will be back soon!
Beautiful view but it stops there
Called for a graduation family dinner reservation two months in advance. Arrived for an 8:00pm reservation, our salads were served at 9:00pm and entrees were served cold at 10:30pm. Very disappointed!
Fun atmosphere.
Sat in bar and had 2 watery drinks. Expensive, $40 includes tip. Beautiful view. Service was slow but it was busy.

I visited Oklahoma City recently and saw this place on TikTok, wanted to try it out. I came around an hour before closing for a cocktail. Pros: -beautiful restaurant -scenery/view -drink was strong! Cons: -service was okay at best -slow (it was an hour until closing - not busy) -lack of attention to detail when it came to cleanliness (crumbs were left in chairs) -bartender honestly failed to make recommendations. It seemed like he didn't care or enjoy the options on the menu. Overall, I did expect more given the fact they advertise themselves as upscale dining. I'm pretty glad I didn't spend more and get food. I don't think I'd visit here again when I'm back in town.

This was our first time there, but I knew I wanted to celebrate our two year anniversary in style. We got a table against the window and the view was fabulous! Our absolutely amazing server Stephanie was very knowledgeable about all the different dishes we asked about but also in describing the special! She had me at 24oz ribeye! It also included lobster tail, shrimp, scallop and we added the Oscar. And she had "Happy Anniversary " written in chocolate on the raspberry tart and pistachio ice cream dessert plate. I would highly recommend this as a dinning experience for your special night. The view, the service and the food are all amazing! Thank you Vast and Stephanie making our special evening even more so

I went here with work for lunch and the buffet was tasty not to mention the views. I have never had squash hummus and it was to die for. Everyone from worked loved the food.
Nice experience.
Steak & shrimp were very good. Night view at Christmas is the best!
I love the buffet style food, service is always great, and
I love the buffet style food, service is always great, and it has the best view in okc.
I was shocked with the quality of food for the price.
For our first time experience, we will never be back. The " fancy potatoes" were a whole spoon full, the vegetables hard as a rock and the steak was beyond chewy. Steak that price should melt in your mouth. I would not waste the money or time for just the view. Go to LongHorns steak house in Norman, they have 100x better food.

So, my family and I rode on the Bricktown Water Taxi, and the tour guide mentioned the famous restaurant, Vast, located in the Devon Tower. She had informed us about the amazing lunch buffet. On a Tuesday, we had to try it out! We booked reservations for Vast, lunch, at around 11:30. Vast is located atop the Devon tower, on the 49th floor. Devon Tower is the tallest building in the state of Oklahoma! There are some amazing, breathtaking views at Vast. We were sitting at a table that overlooked the entire Oklahoma City! It was stunning! Vast provides a panoramic view of the entire city. Depending on where you sit, you'll be able to view different areas of Oklahoma City! Our view was over Bricktown and the ball field. The restaurant's ambiance was elegant and charming. It really felt like we were immersed in a completely unique dining experience. The buffet was situated in a different section of the restaurant, isolated from the dining tables. There was a relatively long line for the food as there was a special holiday event being hosted, but it did move quickly! The buffet consisted of some of the following dishes: Cauliflower Apple Soup Quinoa Fruit Salad with Coconut Lime Dressing Salad Bar Hummus Fruit and Artisan Cheese Ham Chicken Breast Corned Hash Sweet Potato Assorted Mini Desserts Current costs: $25.50 per person $12.75 for children 12 and under Includes unlimited house-made desserts with a weekly new menu offering, available only Monday - Friday. This was my favorite dining experience while visiting Oklahoma City with the family. The service was outstanding! The team member who was assisting our table provided us with insights into activities and events to do while visiting Oklahoma City. He followed up with our table often, refilling our waters and sodas! The food was so flavorful and scrumptious! My favorites were the meats and desserts. The ham was packed with yummy flavors, and it wasn't too sweet. It was also juicy and not overcooked! The chicken was tender and was seasoned well with a salt/pepper rub. I don't typically eat corned beef hash, but that was good as well. It had a mixture of a slightly salty and sour taste to it. The desserts were out of this world! The crème brulee was the best dish of the evening. It had a well-balanced, sweet and tangy flavor. The caramel topping and slightly burnt sugar gave it a nice crunch! Vast also had this cranberry bar dessert, which surprised me! It had a graham cracker taste, and the cranberry spread wasn't overpowering either! All of their desserts were wonderful! It was such an amazing dining experience at Vast! I would come back to the restaurant on special occasions if I lived in Oklahoma City!

Worth the trip, really enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance. The drinks were tasty and our server was excellent
OKC’s best
Everything was delicious. And the service was amazing. Amazing view. If you’re looking for an exceptional meal, highly recommend it.
Excellent sunset views. They lavished special attention on my girl.
It was great on my girl's birthday next to the first anniversary of new life in the US. They lavished attention. Excellent views especially of a wonderful sunset.
Awful. A VAST disappointment.
VAST was terribly disappointing. Growing up eating in New Orleans, I know that I have high expectations, but I expected them to have been met at Vast. My come away after today's lunch is: how can a restaurant get so many things WRONG? A BBQ themed buffet was featured for lunch. First, I asked for some turkey at the buffet, was given one small piece. One small piece. At a $25.50 per person buffet? The dark meat was tough, bland. Dry. Next, green beans with mushrooms is hard to ruin, but some sort of smoke seasoning was liberally used and the taste and aftertaste were foul. I mean, the huge use of smoked seasoning ruined the beans. SO much seasoning here, yet everything else at the buffet was UNDERseasoned! Case in point, the loaded mashed potatoes were nearly devoid of flavor and we're slimy and not warm at all. The shiny mass was simply much too moist starch. VERY DISAPPOINTING. HOW DO YOU SCREW UP MASHED POTATOES? I literally NEVER add salt or pepper to food, but I absolutely would have to these potatoes, but none was at the table. There was also fried fish that was unremarkable. I wanted to be dazzled...but no. It wasn't even as tasty as Popeye's fried fish! There were apple baked beans. The apple taste and sweetness were entirely too invasive. They apple was so overwhelming that the beans were more like a dessert. The clash of flavors felt like an assault. My husband ate the brisket and the pulled pork. Once again, he was given one thin slice of each. He asked for more. He said that the taste was simply okay. Swadley's OKC offers better. The other three items that I was looking forward to because I can't eat meat were the meatless three bean chili, the red potato salad and the cabbage slaw, all vegan. The three bean chili was bitter and should have offered a smooth melding.of chili seasonings. Nope. There was ONE distinct, acrid, very sour, overwhelmingly cumin flavor. Chili should be a rich amalgamation of a chili pepper taste, garlic, LIGHT cumin, and a taste of oregano, salt, pepper. This seasoning was awful, abrupt, harsh. Meanwhile, red potato salad? This wasn't a salad! These were red potatoes, sliced, spread naked with dill and something wet. Bland, blah. The cabbage slaw was the Carolinas bitter type, and was also bland with ONLY the bitter remaining. And most disappointingly, the "desserts"? Dry chunks of shortbread with chocolate chips, some kind of whipped cream on top. NO TASTE AT ALL. Apple pie? Ugh. This was a super thick, rubbery mess with crumbs on top. Again, flavorless. I mean, honestly, the apple baked beans tasted more like apple pie. There was some kind of a strawberry shortcake that was also bland, also some kind of creamy thing in a tiny dessert glass that was nasty. ESPECIALLY at the end of a horrible meal like this, I wanted something really tasty to pick me up. These desserts were a sham. Give me a moist brownie, a delectable tart. I'm a nice person who believes in uplifting people. I'm also not a particularly critical person. But when we drove all the way from our country home to downtown OKC, parked, and took the elevator up to Vast, we were expecting something out of this world. Yes, the view was nice. But you can't eat a nice view. Even the rolls ranked barely above a store-bought roll from Walmart. When I go out to eat, I want food as good or better than what I create at home. I had the advantage of a Creole cook when I grew up who taught me how to make outstanding Cajun and Creole food, a roux, how to season food, and it is to that that I have become accustomed. But when Vast advertises itself as a gourmet restaurant, and charges gourmet prices, I expect to be delivered gourmet flavors, textures, delicacies, and delights. I'm gravely disappointed and very much feel that we wasted our time and money, and that our expectations were dashed. You can do better than this, Vast. and if you can't, let me know.I'll come up there and show you how to season food and cook. And I'll show the wait staff who are carving the meat how to give someone a proper portion without making them ask or beg. I am your customer. I do not ask. Rather, it is inquired OF me if I should like more. However, in the case of Vast restaurant, I do not want more. We will not return. Perhaps your daily buffet is not up to par with your evening offerings. Regardless, does it matter? The only meal that matters to your customer is the one that they just received. And our two meals were not at all delicious. Hours later now, I can still taste that awful, artificial smoked flavoring. We were, yes, I'll say it, VASTly disappointed.
They lavished special attention on my girl on her birthday plus the view of the unexpected sunset. Thank you.
It's a great place. It offers a beautiful view over all the buildings in the city as it is located in the Devon Tower, favored by the completely glass façade and by this time when the days are long. The view of the sunset was enjoyed like in few places, an unexpected gift for my dear honoree with a deep symbolic and real meaning for her life and that of the entire family. Special attention was given to my girl for her birthday by Vast. Dinner happened in a large space for 8 people. Lots of space and freedom to chat animatedly. Forever grateful. 🇨🇺♥️
Classy atmosphere, Caring staff & valet, Incredible food!
I brought my friend for her 22nd birthday and neither of us had been before. We were taken aback by the view, and even more so by the cool, classy ambiance. We were set by the window and whereas most tall buildings tend to have some sway with the wind & such, we didn't feel a thing! Our waiter was very kind and attentive, and we didn't feel any kind of rush throughout our evening even though our reservation was at the latest time they took reservations for food. My friend got the 6 oz filet mignon and I got the pasta. Both dishes were tremendous & the food just melted in our mouths. It was a bit on the spicy side, as for the red wine sauce on the steak and the pasta, but nonetheless delicious! We got the banana rum cheesecake for desert and the chef was even sweet enough to write happy birthday in chocolate on the plate! The valet service was amazing and punctual, and everyone involved was very helpful, kind, and courteous, both to me and my friend as well as my car. I will definitely be making my way back to Vast in the near future and would be very open to planning any of my future events there :)
Meat selection.
We usually love the Vast lunch menu but today was lacking. There was no beef and the pork belly was so tough we couldn't eat it. Pork ribs or pork loin would have been so much better. I liked the lamb but I noticed most guys pasted it up. The chicken was delicious. We loved our table and our waiter was spot on. There has obviously been a change in the kitchen. We hope the meat selection will improve.
Very romantic Atmosphere!
We had a steak dinner, it was cooked perfectly! It was elegant, the atmosphere was awesome! Loved the 49 floor high window seats.
Exceptional customer service, prompt, professional and polite!
Specifically, the valet parking was exceptional. Good customer service, prompt service! From the time we drove up to the establishment to when we were driving away…she me of the best valet service we received in a while…!
