This restraint is only open Wednesday through Sunday.
I was highly looking forward to having dinner in the restaurant. Particularly the flat iron steak or the lamb I had been looking forward to this for two months. It's my last night in Las Vegas I was so looking forward to dining in the restaurant on top of the tower. Of course when I got there with a smile happy to be able to enjoy a very expensive meal with a great view. I was told that it was all closed for a private priority event. Not all the staff knew it was closed down as they directed me to the restaurant and said enjoy. The Korean restaurant requires two people I am a solo traveler. The deli looked unappetizing. The Indian buffet is super tiny and their food displays. Just say curry chicken. Curry vegetables with a tiny little salad bar. Hash house a go-go closes early their grill closed down permanently. I'm not a fan of the food hall. If you like decent food this restaurant might be good for you if it's open or not closed down for an event.

Great and attentive staff. The view was fantastic. Would highly recommend. On our list for our next visit to Las Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyWe are local on a birthday fun day for my 22 y/o.
He wanted to play miniature golf (KISS also in Rio). Since we were going there I made 5:30 reservations for Voo Doo...Id been there before and enjoyed the view. Early reservations should have ensured a good table. Despite ample seating throughout the restaurant, they sat us close to the entrance (back) with a view of the pool (no view IMO). John our waiter was super friendly AND forgot my son's cocktail after making a thing of seeing his ID. He forgot my daughter's French fries. My lobster tail was most certainly not fresh. Interestingly, the lobster bisque had been wonderful. The steaks were excellent. My son got a complimentary slice of cake but not so much as a candle to signify it was birthday cake (admittedly minor except I'm already disappointed). At $500 price point, Las Vegas has a lot of truly exceptional steakhouses. I can spend considerably less and get better food and service... if I don't have a view. The view knocked off an entire star on its own.

Food: Seafood Tower Rib Eye The Seafood Tower was delcious and worth the price. The Tower consists of hot & cold seafood shrimp, lobster, crab cakes, crawfish, seared scallops, and poke shooters. The hot seafood had what seemed like beurre blanc or lemon butter sauce. The Rib Eye was equally delicious. Seasoned well and cooked to my liking. Tender and flavorful. Definitely a spot I'd return to and would recommend.

This experience was delightful, with both the food and cocktails being tasteful and impressive. The view from the 50th floor was truly spectacular
Be the first to ReplySome of the most wonderful food I've ever been served.
The staff is top notch and our waiter was worthy of the large tip I gave him. The venue was beautiful and the view of the strip from the 50th floor was breathtaking. Pricy? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely!!
Be the first to ReplyWe dined here while staying at the Rio.
The food was expensive, but quite good. And service was top notch! The views were amazing! I highly recommend the mushroom side dish to go along with your steak!
Be the first to ReplyWe had dinner here recently, hoping for a nice Las Vegas
We had dinner here recently, hoping for a nice Las Vegas view with a good meal. The food was pricey, but okay. However, the windows are coated with something so dark that you can barely see outside. The lights of Las Vegas were hard to see, if you can believe that. Also, the property is undergoing MAJOR RENOVATIONS, and we had a worker on a scaffolding directly outside our window table, shining a light into our eyes for a good portion of our dinner. Staff was very apologetic, but said there was nothing they could do, and no adjustment on our bill was offered or anything. We just finished our meal and got the heck out of there.
Be the first to ReplyJohn is worth it! Major bonus on the night! He is the best.
Food was ok. Crickets in the elevator was random. Won't be back bud the view was cool
Be the first to ReplyWe had dinner here tonight and the a/c was not working.
It was extremely hot and they had fans placed throughout the restaurant. If they would have called and said the a/c wasn't working I would have canceled my reservation. We arrived by Uber for our 7:15pm reservation. Our dinner lasted less than 1 hr and the cost was $200. Fine dining should take 2 hours. I'm extremely disappointed in this whole experience. The restaurant is on the 50th floor and it was extremely HOT! See pics of fans in restaurant. Adrian our server was great. Dine if you want to sweat and eat!
Be the first to ReplyFood was good, I been fewer times.
I love the view from the patio and nice to take drinks before or after dinner outside Service is just ok not very friendly, sometimes very long even if it's not busy but good food !$$$$$$$$
Be the first to ReplyDined here for Valentine's.
Exceeded my expectations! The food was cooked perfectly with great flavors. We ordered the domestic lamb chops and chicken Marsala dish. The service was exemplary. There's an outside deck to view the Vegas skyline as you wait for your food. The ambiance inside is quiet and intimate with low lighting. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out!

Arriving at the restaurant downstairs the light display for the menu was empty which was a bad sign, it doesn't give a good look.Only one elevator was working to go up. Once up the staff was super friendly. We did have to wait 15min after our reservation time. Waiters were very friendly and apologetic for slow service. The cocktails were excellent. The complimentary bread and butter was the best part of the dinner. We both ordered salmon. It was mediocre at best. Then the staff lost the credit card and claimed we took it back until they found it by the register. All above was forgivable. Especially you merely chose this restaurant for the panoramic view of Las VegasWhat was not forgivable was the elevator one the way down. We both feared for our lives. Fifty floors of loud, rattling, shaking until we came out shaking. Never ever will I set foot in there EVER. Completely unacceptable. This is more something for a haunted house not a nice dinner.
Be the first to ReplyOrdered the scallops, filet mignon and scalloped potatoes.
All were really good. Great views and friendly bartenders. Definitely worth checking out. No tv's though.

Went to this restaurant last night to celebrate Valentine's Day and felt truly special. This was my first time even to go to the Rio. Up the glass elevator we found wonderful service and seriously unforgettable food. Worth every penny. I want to be clear how wonderful the staff was. Answered every question we had, spaced out our dinner perfectly and even took great photos for us. I can't wait to go again!

We made reservations and arrived 30 minutes prior to our reservation time. The host escorted us to the bar and recommended we go to the patio to check out the views while we await our table. We did so, then our table was ready. When we sat down we decided to enjoy our newly purchased drinks for a bit. When the waiter came to take our order minutes later, we told him that we were just going to enjoy our drinks and the view first. He swiftly took the menus, water, napkins/utensils and told us that this table was for dinner only. We felt disrespected and as if we were being forced to leave. All of this because we weren't quite ready to begin eating.. Overall, we ended up leaving and will not be returning.

My little sister and I went here for dinner to celebrate her 21st birthday, and man this place did not disappoint. We had an amazing time and our waiter was so kind and attentive. The food was delicious and the drinks were refreshing. The atmosphere was so laid back and inviting despite this being a very upscale restaurant. 10/10 I highly recommend coming here for a special occasion.

This place is an absolute gem! Went for the first time and it had amazing views and the ambiance was great. All the waiters were very nice and help and overall gave amazing service. If the service and views weren't enough, the food was absolutely spot on. We started off with a couple drinks and we had to tell ourselves not to finish them so fast because they were so good and the presentation was delightful. Now for appetizers we had French onion soup and the short ribs and the soup was the best I had ever had along with the short ribs were killer! This led to the lamb chops and the wagyu ribeye and both were season and cooked to perfection! Couldn't have been happier and was one of the best meals I have ever had, especially in Vegas! This competes with any restaurant on the strip and you can't beat the view! I would love to return and try everything on the menu!
Be the first to ReplyWas looking forward to a nice dinner for the last night.
Was disappointed on several aspects. I'll start with the positives: fantastic view - if you go take a walk on the patio for a fantastic view; soups were tasty (lobster bisque and French onion); wait staff attentive and very polite. The negatives: getting there was difficult, winding around to find the dedicated elevator; filet was slightly over cooked and was not as good as most high-end places; ribeye was tough (even at medium); the guests behind us were loud and never stopped talking (not the restaurant fault but still...). Over priced for where you go - a run down Rio.
Be the first to ReplyView is spectacular.
Service was good but the steak was sub par. Bone in rib eye with a small circular bone about 3 quarters of an inch thick. Did it taste good. Sure it was average but at strip prices I expect a real steak. This was not as good as an Outback bone in rib eye. Go up have a drink go o. The balcony but eat somewhere else.
Be the first to ReplyI may not be a high roller at the tables when in Vegas.
..But I sure as hell try my best to eat like one when I frequent Sin City. In May of 2022, we celebrated my brother-in-laws birthday and our group had 4 days of nonstop good eats, strong booze, beer-side swim parties and risky gambling. That evening, we had booked a stand up comedy show at the Comedy Cellar which is also located inside the Rio and decided we wanted to not only eat somewhere good to celebrate the birthday boy, but also somewhere that was close and better yet, inside the Rio so we weren't rushing to get to the comedy cellar afterwards. (Comedy Cellar review to follow) Well, luckily VooDoo Steak checked off both boxes and our evening was set for success. Located on the.... Get ready for this... 50th Floor of the Rio hotel, Voodoo Steak did not disappoint! The View, The Beef, The Lobster Tail, That Baked Potato though...Everything was top of the line and perfectly complimented the ambiance of what Vegas has to offer which in turn set our evening up for success for a continued joyous celebration to the birthday boy's night out on the town. After being seated, we ordered our cocktails, then we stepped out onto the rooftop lounge which overlooks all of Las Vegas below. A great photo op from the deck and even a wonderful view of Vegas even while seated at one of their tables indoors, Voodoo Steak was definitely a jackpot win for the entire group. So the next time Sin City hosts you for an weekend getaway, a celebration of life, or just because you wanna feel what's it's like to be a high roller eating on the 50th floor above the Strip, I say make your reservation at Voodoo Steak and come live your absolute best life.

This visit was equally divine the second time as the first! We stayed in the hotel so we valet's our car and came here which was magnificent. My husband and I started with the strawberry fields and blood orange martini drink along with the crab cakes. They were all stupendous! The drinks were pretty strong also.We then moved on and got the dinner for two which was a soup or salad then the tomahawk rib eye, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. It was perfect! The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were immaculate! We both got their French onion soup and it was the best French onion soup I have ever had! The steak was so delicious and the sides were incredible. We were so full that we declined dessert. Our drinks were our dessert for the meal! Thank you Voodoo Steakhouse for another perfect evening!

I list this restaurant as "not good" only as they called me to cancel my reservation stating this would not be open on a Thursday night. I didn't press them on why they weren't open, but I'm guessing that others are correct when they say that perhaps this spot (and maybe the whole casino) won't be open much longer? (I only speculate about the whole casino)
Be the first to ReplyMy family & friends came for dinner on Christmas Eve.
We all had a great experience. I'm a sucker for a good steak. I had no complaints about this place. I am not a fan of onions but the onion soup was amazing! I ended up taking it from my husband who ordered it for himself. My drink, which came in a smokey glass box was great and the presentation was awesome. I did smell like I had been sitting next to a camp ground after opening the box though. My steak was cooked to my liking and my family & friends enjoyed their options. Might I add the view(s) from the rooftop. G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S! I would visit this spot again.
Be the first to ReplyOur experience was amazing.
We came Christmas night with a tired (grumpy) toddler. The host thoughtfully seated us on the side of the restaurant with fewer guests and next to a table that also had a toddler. Our server was thoughtful and kind and when our toddler broke a glass (omg so embarrassing) the server was cleaning it up so fast I hardly even knew it happened. (No toddlers were harmed thankfully!)Our food was fantastic. Calamari was very normal but perfectly fried. My husbands French onion soup was insanely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly. My scallops were heaven. 10/10 would recommend!!!
