Great food and service and a very reasonable price.
They also have a nice outdoor area. We highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful ambiance and friendly service.
My husband and I were not full after the omakase since the pieces were small, but the fish tasted fresh and the omakase presentation was beautiful. We'll return to the their bowls.

The food, service and ambiance is perfect in my book. Our Waiter Bruno was professional, polite and explained the menu and all the fish they were serving us. If you know seafood and love excellent imported fish this is the place to go. We started off with the spicy tuna roll, California roll and the scallops with a cold draft Asahi beer. The rolls were very good and the scallop dish was fantastic. For our main course we had the Wabi Sabi bowl and the Omakase nigiri dish. The fish selection prepared by the Chef on the Omakase nigiri plate was fantastic. The assortment of fresh imported fish from Japan was exceptional. I never cared for sea urchin but when you have good quality imported sea urchin you will never care for the local sea urchin. I was fortunate that the chef served a combination of Ikura and sea urchin sushi that was incredible. Another nigiri piece served on the dish was fluke fine and I have never had a piece like that. For desert we tried the Japanese cheesecake with a warm strawberry sauce on top that was real good. What a great place for Japanese sushi.

Can't wait to go back and do the 12-course Omakase! I love this spot! The decor is beautiful and it feels calm yet upbeat and happy. Though the restaurant is small is has a very open feel as you can see into the kitchen and it was so clean! The food and service was amazing! I ordered the assorted vegetable sushi roll and 5 different kinds of nigiri. The medium fatty tuna and yellowtail are my favorite but they were all great and very fresh.

Be the first to ReplyIf you're a sushi lover, you won't want to miss this
If you're a sushi lover, you won't want to miss this restaurant. The quality of the sushi here is unmatched, with a focus on using only the freshest ingredients available. Each bite of sushi is bursting with flavor and texture, with impeccably cut fish that is buttery and tender. The variety of options is extensive, with something to satisfy every palate. The oysters were my ultimate favorite . The restaurant itself is sleek and modern, with a vibrant atmosphere that is perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner. The service is also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who are happy to make recommendations and ensure that your dining experience is as enjoyable as possible. Overall, if you're looking for an exceptional sushi experience with the freshest fish around, this restaurant should be at the top of your list.
Be the first to ReplyWabi Sabi's food and staff are great.
I have gluten issues and everytime I dine there they automatically adapt the dishes for me and bring me gluten free condiments. The sushi is excellent and on par with any Japanese sushi that I have ever had and I love good sushi.

I am a fan of Wabi Sabi- the sushi is fresh and while it is on the pricier side, I think it's worth it. The ambiance is beautiful, big fan of the origami wall art and clean aesthetic. The service is ok, there have been times where things were forgotten or took too long- but it wasn't bad enough to not go back.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is special.
Drive slow or you might zoom right pass it. But, when you find it, you will fall in love. This is not a place for drenching your "poke bowls" in spicy Mayo. The Wabi Sabi Bowl is for those who truly want to experience the delicate yet complex flavors in each bite. Each ingredient has purpose and is plated as such. The plating and service dishes are artful without trying hard. The service is non intrusive yet attentive. The ambiance is simple and minimal, wabi sabi at its best, allowing you to peacefully enjoy what's in front of you.
Be the first to ReplySo good!! Service was awesome and fish was so fresh.
We will definitely go back and could see this being a weekly staple.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent quality.
Ottoro was incredible (both the maki and the hand roll) Only 4 stars as prices where a bit high.
Be the first to ReplyOMG! What is with the rude woman with the big black Gucci
OMG! What is with the rude woman with the big black Gucci glasses? So rude and full of herself. I wanted to leave as soon as I sat but I thought I was just hangry. So I got a grip on myself and gave her a chance. She was the host or the owner I think. The wait staff were pleasant.... when they eventually arrived. It was not busy. The menu was somewhat poorly written but the wait staff were great at giving us a hand. Anyway, it was late and no longer busy so after waiting in our car for for an hour for a call that never came. We went back in. No big deal. Big Glasses just never called. Sat us at the bar with plenty of tables open. The food came and looked beautiful, unfortunately, all the flavor was left back in the kitchen. We had bowls with every sauce available. Unfortunately, they too were bland. You're kidding? At a sushi restaurant? So..two bowls, two beers, two miso soups, $100. Really? Including all bad vibes, poor service, and lack of taste? Such a deal. The woman with the glasses really set the deal in stone of a "never return". A woman of her size should really be in the back hoisting bags of rice and cases of saki rather than in public service. This is the deal... There are three other places within a two mile radius, Katana, Mochi Mochi, and others that are the same if not better. Perhaps more, I just wanted to change up my sushi game.My advise, be nice to your customers, make flavorful food, and put your attitude where the sun doesn't shine and you will be all right.
Be the first to ReplySuch a great find in Miami Beach.
Drove by for years and never noticed it. Friend's recommendation that we try. Excellent quality and service, will definitely be back.

I have been to Wabi Sabi multiple times and it is some of the best sushi I've had in Miami hands down. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for high quality sushi in a cozy setting. 11/10 from me.

One of the best sushi spots in Miami without the prices or attitude! The only negative is it's not a full bar but the sake and wine is fine.
Be the first to ReplyRestaurant deserves more than five stars.
The location is beautifully decorated by handcrafted origami made by the chef herself. Service was fenomenal starting from the second we walked in the door. They have the freshest fish I have ever had in Miami. Very detail oriented and accepted special accommodations. Will definitely be going back!
Be the first to ReplyOne of my fave sushi restaurants in Miami.
The fish is incredibly fresh and high quality. Delicious crab and salmon. The Wabi Sabi bowl is my favorite. The mushrooms in it are amazing. Service is great and decor is chic. Love this place.
Be the first to ReplyAfter reading all the stellar reviews for this place you'd
After reading all the stellar reviews for this place you'd think going here would be like experiencing the second coming of the sushi gods. But after coming here, all we got was sushi that seems like it was made by someone who dropped out of sushi making community college and a big ass bill. Not to mention we were left to stare longingly at the empanada shop across the street while still starving. I know the golden rule of sushi: fresh fish isn't cheap and cheap fish isn't fresh. But another golden rule is that if you charge a premium, then make an effort. The Wabi Sabi bowl was super bland; you shouldn't have to douse it in sauce for it to taste good; just a plain Jane poke bowl at best. We also ordered a few hand rolls, but they were tiny (more like finger rolls). And cold rice in a hand roll? Cmon! And don't even get me started on the canned crab meat in the California Roll...CANNED! These guys needs to step their game up, they have to do better. I guess I'm just spoiled by the sushi in NY (Sugar Fish I'm looking at you). TL/DR: they charge too much and their sushi isn't any better than the stuff in publix towards the end of the day. Disappointed and won't be back.

On my second time going to Wabi Sabi restaurant I got food poisoning. I was so sick for over 26 hours and I felt weak for over a week. I liked the place and the staff is very nice but unfortunately those misfortune experiences take you away from Japanese restaurants. :(
Be the first to ReplyBest sushi i've had in Miami so far.
The service was perfect, kind, quick, and efficient. Sushi was perfect, every dish came out great. Recommend the handrolls

Wabi Sabi is a solid sushi option in a town flooded with great sushi options. This place is more on the traditional side of sushi, with very fresh fish. The starters are fairly limited. The wine list is basic but has the required varietals for a sushi spot. The service was very slooooww. Three servers including the manager/owner struggled to keep up. Gratefully we were on a very leisurely pace. The so called Omakase Nigiri is absolutely not Omakase. It's what most places would call a sushi boat without the boat. ย The sushi was good but nothing inventive or special. The hand rolls while making really bad food porn were very good. One I enjoyed was the Wagyu o toro. I did find the place a little pricey for what you get. There are definitely better values for real Omakase. Still we enjoyed the sushi. I'd go back if planning an evening in that area but otherwise not worth the drive for me as it's pretty much a destination place with little else around it.

Got caught in Miami on a long layover last night and decided to treat myself to some nice sushi. I chose this place based on a random Eater article and I am so glad I did. Small storefront with an open kitchen, the design is very tranquil. The wall of paper cranes is incredible and let me knew I was in for a good experience. I did the omakase nigiri. It does come out at once instead of portioned out, but I enjoyed being able to choose the order of my indulgence. The fish was all amazing, extremely fresh, masterfully sliced, and melted in my mouth. My personal favorites were the Japanese Sea Bream and Rosy Seabass. I added a couple of hand rolls on at the end and found the flavor combinations to be delightful. Attentive staff was quick to fill my drink and answer my questions. It was not an inexpensive evening, but perfection comes at a price. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a restaurant off the beaten path.
