Perfect experience!
The whole lunch was perfectly curated with superb culinary skills and unpretentious hospitality. Will return for sure. The pictures don't do justice to the team. Thanks for taking good care of me, Keith, Chef Vicky and team. Awesome work!
Very good food (but not the best)
We went to this restaurant because it made the list of one of the best restaurants in Hong Kong. Overall, the service is superb, and the food is quite good. But the food, while very good is not great (not among the top ten restaurants in HK, in our opinion). The rice with fish maw, chicken soup (ordered specially because we didn't fancy the lamp soup), and steamed fish were excellent. The pigeon and king crab a little bland, and the chili oyster did not make sense (the sauce overwhelms it). The dessert (sorbet with osmanthus) was interesting. Perhaps they can add a few more staples of classic Cantonese cuisine to the set menu.

The quality of the food was the best Chinese I've had in Sac BUT the portions size for the price was less than ideal. I would not recommend eating inside for ambiance reasons but it's perfectly functional for such. The cashier was kind, warm, and efficient.

Amazing and delicate modern chinese cuisine experience
Amazing experience, from the delicate and essential food, the exquisite aesthetics of the servings, the dishes, the dining room, the balcony views; everything is thought of and cared for! The most commendable however, was the attention; the service was beyond impecable, gentle and attentive to every guest gesture, the best I recallโฆ To top it all, the chef had the courtesy of having a drink with us, despite the very late hour, and it was delicious to hear about his life experience and his views on the role of the food as almost medicinalโฆ. A treat!!

4.5 Starts For Food, 2 stars for ambience and service. I was feeling like some chow fun and I have to say that this place makes a tasty not too salty and not greasy fresh dish! Barbecue pork chop and it's not on the menu however at all and they had no problem with serving me barbecue pork with my special order and it was cooked up quick and very tasty. I would definitely get food from here, however I would probably get it to go because the place is depressing and the services seems like he doesn't want to take your order or fill your water or anything. I frankly think that having people dying is unusual for this place. I've never been here when other people were here, but I always see lots of takeout.
I flew back into Sacramento International Airport (SMF)
I flew back into Sacramento International Airport (SMF) from LAX the other day as flying direct back to Red Bluff was way more expensive, My friend picked me up at the airport and wanted to get dinner at this restaurant she knew. Cool, I'll pay since you picked me up. Wing's Restaurant looks like a real locals place. We were joined by a friend of her's so there's 3 of us. She ordered a bunch of food to go as we decided it was better to eat at her house. Fine with me. We ordered the Singapore Noodles, Beef Chow Fun and General's Chicken and the hot braised chicken wings which we re-plated cause it came with the sauce and garnish separate. The noodles dishes were good and still very hot when we got back to her house. I liked the curry taste of the Singapore noodles and the chow fun had that wok seared flavor like a charbroiled burger. The general's chicken was pretty standard, I've had better. But the wings, holy moly, those were good with that sauce over them. Still crisp skin and sauce was perfect. I think the skin would not be as crispy if they sauced the wings at the restaurant, cause they might get soggy in the car. We all like the food and told my friend we can go there again if she picks me up at the airport again!

I work nearby and have been meaning to try this place for sometime. The place looks like it's been around since the 70's or earlier. I came by around 2pm on MLK day so there wasn't anyone inside beside the host. The place could use an interior update if they wish to increase the dining in customers. I ordered takeout and it was ready in a few minutes. The egg rolls were very tasty with the sweet and sour sauce. The General's chicken was an unexpected highlight! And I'm a keen judge after eating many many General's chicken over many decades. It had real respectable cuts of chicken that were lightly breaded and stir fried and tasted amazing the the sweet and tangy sauce. I've had so many General's chicken that had tiny pieces of chicken meat with too much breading. This delightfully was not the case. I will certainly be back to try other menu items. Highly recommend!
Definitely worth visiting
Fantastic in all aspects! Food was really good and service staff were very attentive. They keep track of your likes and dislikes. When you pay them a second visit, theyโll craft a menu from what they know your palate is. Takes a lot of work to be so carefully precise for your guests but thatโs why I would be going back again. Entire meal is a set menu but if you donโt like something or donโt feel you have enough food, theyโll be sure to craft something special for you. They want to make sure you go home happy.
Wings review Want to start the review by apologizing.
I came to eat here and the service met all service needs, I even was given my hot tea for free. I left a note to express my dissatisfaction with my server's behavior before leaving which was out of line for me to do and immaturely handled. Service doesn't always have to be a dynamic social interaction like I might want it to be. I am sorry, and I thank you for the excellent meal. The food came quick, my kungpao chicken was tender and had nice flavor, the chow mein wasn't greasy and the vegetables were well integrated. Its flavor was mild but scallion and soy flavor came through. The spring roll was especially good, crispy with a sour, gingery note in the filling that balanced a dip in the sweet sauce. Also, the interior of the restaurant is beautiful in my opinion. I took a moment to draw the entry way because I liked it so much. The prices are reasonable, the portions generous, and the food is tasty! Sorry to use this review platform as a place to apologize.
I came here for lunch with my uncle and aunt.
It's a small place and only one or two parallel parking places on J Street so we had to park in front of a home on a nearby street. The food was good with generous portions. We were the only customers and the waiter was attentive and our food came out promptly. Not much ambiance. Just a row of booths along the wall with the kitchen on the other side.
House Special Chow Mien is the best.
This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant. I always order to go and parking can always be found.
Superb! Delicious!
Wonderful tasty food, served beautifully and artistically. The staff were all so helpful and we enjoyed hearing about all the courses, the background to the ingredients and the reasons the ingredients were chosen. We had the seasonal tasting menu. The chef, Vicky Cheng came out to meet all the guests and chat about his dishes which was interesting. We had a glass of wine but there is a pairing menu if you want and a wine menu. They serve their own tea and then two others throughout the meal if you prefer.Nice and quiet dining area too.
Modern Chinese restaurant
On the 29th floor, the Wellington building is a fancy modern Chinese restaurant. Same building with the Chairman at the 3rd floor. Reservations is a must, as the establishment is not too large. We had an exclusive private room for the family and the service is impeccable! Miss Swiss was attentive, friendly and explained every course we took. It was a set menu and modern interpretation of the Chinese cuisine served for each guest. A Chinese version of an Omakase/ French degustation menu! Each dish was like an art served in special China, pot or crystal glass! Different teas were served at different stages of the course starting with Oolong, followed by Chrysanthemum tea. As a thirst quencher they had a specially made tea with Chuan Pei! Each dish tasted good especially the chicken soup with japanese yam. Itโs full of flavour and collagen! The rice with fish maw cooked with abalone gravy was memorable. The other dishes were also tasty and presented well! The lobster with mala tasted good too. Price was at the upper level. However, the food is somewhat different from other Chinese redaturants! Great place to entertain guests!

Background: Visiting family in Sacramento and stumbled upon this place on my way back to SF. I eat Chinese food pretty much every other day from various spots in SF as my workplace gives me a dinner allowance. This has enabled me to experience the food of at least over 50+ Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area. Verdict: Wings is my top 2 favorite Chinese restaurant. The food speaks for itself. It is true in taste and it's really a hidden gem (for now). Doesn't hurt that the service is really top-notch. I was treated respectively and had a great dining experience (can't say this is common to other Chinese spots!). I am going to this spot anytime I'm in Sac.
Food is consistently good! Timely service.
Have ordered 10+ times with no issues. Love the Mongolian beef.
The food was delicious! Super authentic.
The chow mein and the walnut shrimp was flavorful.

I love Wings! The food is wonderful and the service is great. I have to write some more characters,...okay, whew. I'm done.
Food was okay for what I ordered shrimp with veggies.
But the rice plate version was very small. They filled the bigger side of the styrofoam box with so much rice and then just put the food on the left side with the smaller sections. With DoorDash costs this dish was $20 ($14 on its own) but I was still hungry afterwards. A bit of a bummer.I asked for chopsticks because I'm Asian and it's weird to not eat with them. No chopsticks. There was no sauce for the egg roll. :-(I want to add some positives because I just went to my old go-to Chinese restaurant by my house and they must have changed owners because the food is no longer good. It made me think of what I liked about Wings and it's worth another try. Wings portions were small for the rice plate but the food was really fresh! That's important for all Chinese food but especially shrimp! So I'll give it another chance and order entree size dish and see how they do with portions.

Ive lived in East Sacramento for about three years now and I often come to the spot when I need a quick dinner. Decent spot and portions. 6/10 customer service. Sketchy inside. I order kung pao tofu, no rice it's always bad quality. The tofu is tasty and they offer a variety of fresh vegetables.

I have been a bit hesitant to try Wing's based on some of the reviews but I'm here to say I LOVED MY DINNER! I'm not a vegetarian but got veggie chow fun and salt and pepper tofu. Let me say, these were some of the tastiest dishes I've had from a Chinese restaurant in a very long time. While I can't speak to anything other than these two items, both were made beautifully, fresh and delicious - complete with that well-seasoned wok flavor we foodies adore on the chow fun. Veggies were plentiful and tasty but the star was the S&P tofu. Light, slightly crisp exterior with fried onions and jalapeรฑo slices, I could not stop eating these morsels. Thumbs up to the chef who knew to "vent" the container to maintain the tofu's crisp coating.I am ashamed of myself for taking so long to try Wing's, especially since I live so close by. I will definitely go back to try other dishes but for now, this veggie dynamic duo is going to be my regular go-to order. I hope you'll join me in supporting this small, local family-owned restaurant. Frankly, the interior is a little lacking and I probably wouldn't dine in but my experience, the food coming out of their kitchen more than makes up for the decor. Please give them a try and if you like it, tip generously (you should do this even if you order to go) and spread the word on Yelp!

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to WING Restaurant at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the WING Restaurant page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* BraveCloth47, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* BraveCloth47 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to BraveCloth47 for any questions Peter may have as BraveCloth47 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* BraveCloth47 now uses their connections at WING Restaurant to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If BraveCloth47 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, BraveCloth47 receives the $200 reward which is credited to BraveCloth47's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at WING Restaurant!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
