Beautiful restaurant.
Food was excellent with prompt and friendly service. Impressive diversity of flavor from an all plant based restaurant

We loved this date night spot- it's a large space with beautiful ambiance and decor. Our servers were also very helpful and friendly. We got the two course seasonal Christmas dinner- gyozas, beetroot Wellington, and truffle mushroom pasta. It was all really delicious and a great meal. The espresso martini was one of the best I've had as well. I'd love to visit again and try more menu items.

Be the first to ReplyIf you're looking for vegan food in London, Wulf and Lamb
If you're looking for vegan food in London, Wulf and Lamb should be on your list. I had the creamy mushroom risotto. The rice was perfectly done, the mushrooms were delectable, and the creaminess came thanks to oat cream. I'd say the dish on it's own is 5 star. My wife had the Cauliflower with Tofu. Again, outstanding consistency and flavor. On it's own, 4.5 stars. My overall rating is based on the outdoor seating. There are plenty of tables, but most of them are in full sun because there are not enough umbrellas to provide shade. It was hot enough in London so that sitting in the sun was uncomfortable. If you prefer indoor seating, the lack of umbrellas shouldn't be an issue. I always sit outdoors when it's an option, especially on vacation when a case of Covid would be catastrophic.

Excellent food and service, with a number of gluten-free options. The mushroom pasta is especially good. Will definitely return for another bowl in this lovely area of Chelsea.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very sweet and classy, perfect for a birthday with friends! It's located in the centre of London and is pretty well-connected. The staff was amazing, very kind and attentive. The wine and dessert were very good. As a vegan it's always great to eat at a place where I can just pick anything on the menu! The only downside, I would say, was that the dish I had was a bit too watery and the pasta was drowning in the sauce. There was also too much pepper, which made it less enjoyable, and made it seem too expensive for the quality of the food. But other than that, I had a nice evening and a great birthday party!

Beautiful, modern, yet comfortable vibe. I ordered the cauliflower steak and mac n' cheese. The cauliflower was tender and tasty and the mac was the best vegan mac I've ever had. If I'm ever back in town I will definitely make a special trip back here for lunch.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is cute, but not super great.
I can see why it would be attractive to vegans or anyone who wants to eat a vegan meal. It does have a great variety on the menu, good for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a coffee. However, they don't accept cash, which is quite backwards, especially in a tourist-heavy area where people are trying to avoid international charges. The Black Currant lemonade was good, but the Truffle Pasta had no flavor really. It definitely could've been spiced up a bit. I had to use a lot of salt to give it a taste.

Unfortunately the more popularity W&L has gained on social media, the less impressive it has become! I went today and the waitress barked at me not to go upstairs until I had ordered. Then they had scrapped the best dish on their menu (pasta with wine sauce and asparagus/broccoli) for some truffle pasta thing (not half as good as the other pasta dish!). Once we got upstairs, the waitresses ignored us until I made a proactive gesture to go to a table, when I was halted and told to wait until they'd cleaned it.No water was offered for the table! The food was mediocre! And the drink was fermented and disgusting to look at/ mediocre in taste. It's a shame I used to like this place but now I'll find another place- the attitude of the women working there is not right and their food is no longer good enough to make up for it.Oh and I also called them once to find out about take away- their phone manner is rude and unfriendly! Y'all are lucky it's doing well at the moment; if the footfall drops, you might want to consider new staff!

I spent almost 3 weeks between London, Paris, and Belfast and the only repeat restaurant that I visited was Wulf and Lamb. It is on the cutest street right around the corner from the Sloane Street Station for the tube and several bus stops. I really wanted to try one of their burgers and asked if I could substitute a small side of macaroni and cheese for the fries, but was told that the macaroni only comes in the one size and cannot be swapped out. That was disappointing. So, I ordered a salad and macaroni and the macaroni was the true star. The salad was okay, but the tofu was underwhelming. When I was back in London a couple weeks later, I went back because I'd been thinking about the macaroni the whole time! This time, I got the pizza with it and it was also a bit underwhelming. Waaaay too much oregano and the cheese was pretty slimy/sticky. The burgers did look good, so I'd go back for that, and the baked goods looked pretty delicious also. I would recommend it to vegans/vegetarians in the area!

As far as vegan or vegetarian options go, this place is a home run! It's imply one of the best vegan restaurants I've been to, and the attitude of the lady behind the bar made this a 5 STAR choice easily! On the night we were in there (we went 3X)... it was packed! It might've been a hidden gem, but the word is OUT! Don't plan on your food being rushed! We had the burrito, and it was filling and delicious! The picture of the corn on my artichoke heart and broccoli pizza almost broke my FB! Let me tell you now... if you don't know, you better find out! It was incredible! Cooked right, and delicious! Then the desserts! I was like a fat kid on a day pass from summer camp! Red Velvet cake, cupcakes, etc... OOOOhhhh... I"d be HUGE if I lived here!5 STARS easy!

Definitely do not have to be vegan to really enjoy it, but if you are vegan, you'll think you died and went to plant-based heaven. Fun atmosphere too, which is due in no small part to the two wonderful women who greet you and take your order (at least the two working on 14/11). Such enthusiasm and sincere attention to helping you get your order just right. Great experience that I will repeat whenever I'm in London.

One of the best vegan scrambled I've had, especially not a tofu-based scramble. The food was hot and delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. Will def come back!

This is one of the best vegan restaurants I've been to in quite a while. I travel internationally on a regular basis and can tell you that I do not run into this level of quality very often. Do splurge on the calories and get some of their desserts - their brownies are to die for...

I had already given up on this place after 3 bad experiences. But my non-vegan husband wanted to try. What a mistake to give them another chance. They messed up my order (again). They insisted I wait 30 minutes, because they were busy. I suggested that my order should be first, as they made a mistake. Nope. You wait even though we messed up. Have you ever heard of such a thing?I ended up eating a falafel wrap which was delicious for 5 pounds close by instead. After our lunch, I'm officially done. And will make sure every vegan I know is warned.
Be the first to ReplyWas not really a fan of the food.
Thought it was overrated and overpriced. Posh area, nice ambiance, however the food lack signature.
