All Around Quality
This is the place to go for excellent service, excellent food and a excellent menu. They take special care in preparing your meal to insure everything is as you requested. Grandkids love the Kid's Chicken Teriyaki and Kid's Box because they have a better alternative to Chicken nuggets and fries. Want a place you can sit down and talk with your family, get sequenced food - appetizers, main meal and even special desserts, without crowds or long waits, this is the place to go ! Not just sushi, you will be surprised. Try the tempura - you can't miss !
Be the first to ReplyYummy ramen
We chose this place based or reviews & that it closed later than 8. Almost everything closes early jn front royal. We had tuna roll, chicken teriyaki, pork belly ramen. The ramen was delicious!!! We loved it. Service was slow but our waitress was very nice & and running around everywhere. Would go again
Be the first to ReplyIn Spite of Corona Virus, Service and Food Great
Forgot to take photos because we were starving BUT believe me, Everything was Excellent!!!! We ordered 1 each of chicken and beef yakisoba....and the Salmon Teriyaki. With Salads, Miso Soups and Seaweed Salad as appetizers. All were cooked to perfection....and so much food, we had to "doggie bag" it home. The HOT GREEN TEA was just right and the service was quick and friendly.

Well food is good and Friendly staffs. Except for the Bobba tea. I ordered mango but i don't taste it, it taste like a milk.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Sushi, bad eveything else.
The sushi chef (and owner) here is an old world master. Several of my friends agree he makes the finest sushi you will ever eat. That being said, it seems he struggles with every other aspect of the business. The establishment looks rather drab from the outside, sketchy almost. On a dark night one might not even notice it, and certainly not think it would be nice to go to. The inside is dim, and in need of a good deep cleaning. It had a cluttered appearance. I think this place is struggling and I hope things can turn around for them.
Be the first to Replyok, just okay
Saturday night, 630-730pm, only 3 tables eating, place was dead. Sushi was average, have had better at supermarkets. But again, land-locked area so not sure what I was expecting. Service was fast (again, only 3 tables) and friendly. Cannot complain there. However, there were tables with just junk on them, like the servers homework bag, etc., though I am all for family businesses, maybe clear off the tables of your junk? We only ordered rolls, so can't comment on anything else. No cocktails, only beer and sake (maybe wine, I didn't ask).

We stopped for a Saturday lunch and were very pleased with the food but a bit disappointed in the service. I think the server was new or preoccupied. But it was ok. The lunch menu is a bit less than the dinner but adequate. I ordered the sushi and was very pleased as it was comparable to the best anywhere, Spouse had chicken teriyaki and was also pleased. We will return for dinner next time.
Be the first to ReplyNigiri sushi is highly recommended
I've only had sushi here. The nigiri has been uniformly excellent. The ratio of fish to rice is very high, large slice of fish, no effort to fill you up with rice. The manizushi/norikami (rolls) are a bit hit or miss. Sometimes the nori is fresh and crisp, other times, a bit chewy. The flavor is fine, just a texture difference. The miso is very good, I haven't tried anything else on the menu since the sushi is so good.
Be the first to ReplyGood sushi, good service, good prices!
Easy seating, nice atmosphere, good and friendly service. The sushi was good, as was the soup and salad. My daughter liked the Udon noodle soup and the rice. My husband loved the soft shell crab in tempura. I got the bulgogi box, which is a Korean dish, so it didn't really fit the Japanese style presentation. The box came with the bulgogi beef on rice, which was tasty, but then it also came with a sushi style bulgogi roll, which I thought was too much of the same thing on the plate. I think I should have asked for a different kind of roll for my box. We had some half priced sushi rolls, which were a great bargain. The chicken teriyaki was a little on the dry side, but all in all, we had a good experience.
Be the first to ReplyMostly sushi
The waitress was inattentive and my veggie tempura was not exciting. I think the oil it was cooked in was old. Anyway, it had an odd taste and I did not finish it. The people who had sushi in our group of six seemed mostly happy. Two of us ended up with upset tummies though and I would not go there again. I also thought they were a bit over - priced.
