Goldfinch Tavern Seattle Reviews from The Last Year
Service was fine.
Food was overpriced and kind of horrible. The tuna tartare tasted like it had gone bad and they still served it. I asked for no blue cheese on my salad and but they still put a dressing with blue cheese on my salad. We had high expectations given the location but left very disappointed.

My memory deceived me and I got lured back here with their promise of bottomless mimosas and I forgot how bad this place was. CONS: The price: They raised their price for the brunch special from $65 to $80 a person. The service was subpar. The drink: they use Treveri Blanc de Blnco for the bottomless mimosas. It cost $10-$15 a bottle so it's a pretty cheap brut. It gave me a headache at the end of the day after just drinking two. The service: Our waitress took too long to serve us and she was in a bad mood. There's a 20% service charge for just 3 people! With the meh service I received, they should not have gotten that much. The food: I got the crab cake and even the waitress warned me and said it was small. The appetizer I ordered was larger than my main course. I tried my friend's burger, and the meat was not seasoned at all and was overcooked. One out of the three mini desserts was good at least. The view is OK and I love the four seasons which is why I thought this place would be great too, but I do not recommend their brunch special at all as it is not worth the price for what you get.

Great food and ambiance- ask for waiter Johnny, he was one of the best in my experience!!! Will definitely recommend
One of the Best viewpoint in Seattle
After a long city walk, end up at The Four Seasons, was planned to see the hotel while the receptionist asked me to contact Sales & Marketing Team~~~ seems FO don't do hotel tour, either they've been trained not to handle walk in guests as they are no responsible for revenue, also those walk ins not counts for Guest Satisfaction survey, so, no need to show hospitality~~ Drink is nice and also bartenders are friendly~~~ worthy spent a evening there to watch sun down experience~

Had a Saturday early 5:30 PM reservation before a show nearby. Very friendly staff sat us at a beautiful window seat. We had several starter dishes and an entree, all of them quite good. Pork belly was dry but still very tasty and presentation was 100. The bar served up a variety of signature cocktails with precision craftsmanship. Waiter and assistant staff were not very busy yet so we had the pleasure of chatting a bit with them, all very friendly and appreciative of your patronage. We don't usually pick out hotel restaurants for dining out but Goldfinch delivered all around great service and food. This is definitely a four seasons hotel quality place.
Service was very professional & courteous.
Food was excellent. Nice variety of choices, even for someone like me who has Celiac's

Visited Seattle for my bday and after walking pikes place hubby and I stopped here for a quick bite and it was great. I had the burger it was delicious and he had the chicken and lobster sandwich, honestly he didn't like it much but everything else was great. Service overall was great, our server was knowledgeable and very polite and even brought me out a dessert with a candle because of my birthday. When we come back to Seattle we're definitely stopping by here again!

Visited Goldfinch Tavern for happy hour and it was a standout experience. It's still pricey! A shoutout to Johnny, our server, for being upfront about the 20% surcharge added to every check. It's a bit puzzling, honestly. At a high-end spot like this, people are tipping well anyway. Just folding it into the menu prices might simplify things, but I digress. Onto the eats: The Cheese Board was a winner, especially with the touch of honeycomb adding a sweet contrast to the savory cheeses. Marcona almonds and Chukar cherries rounded out the flavors, but the real star was the fig bread - an unexpected delight. The Prosciutto di Parma Bruschetta took a twist on the traditional with its soft, warm olive oil bread - a nice change from the usual crisp version. The truffle stracciatella added a flavor that paired well with the saltiness of the prosciutto. Despite the surcharge side note, the food and service at Goldfinch Tavern made it a worthwhile visit.
Definitely one of my favorite brunches in Seattle--
Definitely one of my favorite brunches in Seattle-- beautiful views, good food, lovely ambiance, and unlimited mimosas! For $80 per person, you can get unlimited mimosas (and they're actually refilled frequently, service was STELLAR) and a 3-course brunch, perfect for catching up with friends or family. I visited with a friend on a Saturday afternoon and though we had a reservation, we had to reschedule at the last minute and the restaurant was very accommodating. There's good variety to the menu to suit many tastes and on this occasion, I started with the shrimp cocktail (fresh and tasty--solid appetizer portion to kick off the meal), had the smoked and peppered corned beef as my entree (hearty and rich-- perfect on a cold day and a good portion size), then dessert was a trio of small tastes (perfect for closing out with a little something sweet). Outside of brunch, I would've paid more than $80 for a 3-course meal with drinks, so this was well worth it for a nice day out on the town with a friend. Bonus points for a beautiful, clean bathroom too. It's important to note, the unlimited mimosa brunch isn't mandatory and you could instead order items a la carte if preferred. Can't wait to visit again!
We've been here many times for brunch.
This time was to celebrate Galentine's Day They have a pre-fixe brunch menu, which includes bottomless mimosas, your choice of an appetizer and entrée, and a dessert trio this is a great deal for $80. You can also order these food items A la carte. For our drinks we had: Old fashioned Blush Smoked Manhattan Mimosa Mezcal Negroni For our food we had: Avocado toast BYO omelet Ham Benedict Smoked and peppercorn corned beef Food and drinks were delicious and our server was a gem! We will definitely be returning. @seatownbrunchbaddies

Despite being part of one of Seattle's best hotels, the restaurant is below par. The Huckleberry Waffle is listed as coming with caramelized figs but did not -- and no one let me know that it had been replaced with berries. The flavors were hard to find and both the bacon and waffles were served room temperature. There are SO MANY amazing restaurants in Seattle, don't waste your time with this one.
Dont go there
I do not think this restaurant is worthy of a four seasons hotel. Christmas dinner had a buffet appetizer table which was equivalent to a golden coral. EDntree was good but way overpriced and the desert buffet was eqwuivalent to a safeway bakery. Way overpriced for what we received. They need a new chef.
Not impressed
Came in for dinner. Sat at the bar - hostess/greeter was friendly. The 2 male bartenders not so much. Both were transactional, awkwardly standoffish and not very genuine. I ordered a few different drinks (none very memorable), starter, and entree. The burrata was quite nice and rigatoni was good - temp was a little off and not as hot as it should have been. Overall ambiance was nice - live singer on a Friday night was a nice touch. Experience was a let down and not to be expected from an establishment like Four Seasons.
First and Last Time
First and Last Time! We heard about Goldfinch Tavern and being foodies wanted to try it out. The food was a complete disappointment. Service was decent and the ambience ok but we had high expectations especially with the high prices. Would I recommend this place to locals or tourists or friends? For the prices and the actual value you get - NO I will not recommend it. Too pricey for the quality of food and service that you get. Easier and cheaper to go to another place downtown Seattle.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!

Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res

Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
