Grey Ghost Detroit Reviews
This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had.
My wife and I went to Grey Ghost for our wedding anniversary and it felt so special. When we arrived there was a card waiting for us with a really sweet message. They knew we had specific dietary requirements and were accommodating to everything. We
A cute spot for a date night.
I went with family. Drinks were good and creative. Food was nothing special. Make a reservation.
One of my favorite places downtown.
Been coming here for years. I have never had a bad experience coming here. Parking sucks, so what. I prefer to sit at the bar because the bartenders are great to watch and talk to. I dont know how anyone can not give this place 5 stars.

Came here for my boyfriends birthday! It was a nice atmosphere and our waiter was great. Our favorite items we ordered were the pirogies, cheeseburger, mussels, and french fries. The filet mignon was good but I prefer steak from elsewhere. The waiter

We had a very good dinner at Grey Ghost on our recent Detroit weekend getaway. We had the chef's tasting menu with the beverage pairing and were not disappointed. The atmosphere was lively and the service excellent.
First time in Detroit.
I've had burgers, and then I've had THE burger. I'm telling you, this is not one to pass on. A suggestion: get the egg on it. Also, if you don't typically do mayonnaise, make an exception this one time; you won't regret it.

OK - this place is fantastic - from the craft cocktails - see Austin for sure - delicious couple rounds (savory and citrusy to cover the options) of savory and refreshing beverages (tequila for her and bourbon for me). To the dinner table for the win
The best burger I've ever eaten.
I would consider myself a burger snob and this burger is top tier. The sauce, the patty and bun goes together so well. The bartender made me the best off the menu cocktail I've could've asked for. Will definitely be back soon
The food was great as always however, the service was not.
I was very surprised as this is my second visit and I was raving at how good the food and service was from my previous visit to the restaurant.
I just don't get it.
Have dined here twice now and as many reviewers state, the burger is quite good. But I can get a great burger at numerous places in the city without having to deal with the numerous "pain in the ass" factors in going to Grey Ghost. No val
Such a cute little restaurant in Detroit.
We visit for my birthday and not only did I get to try the most delicious apricot strudel ( with fennel..who knew that was good combo?) but I also got a cute card signed by the whole staff! We started with green beans in peanut sauce, so good I can

Our server was excellent and I really liked that he described the cocktails we ordered to make sure we'd like them/know what to expect (super helpful since I thought my drink was going to be like a margarita but he described it more as a martini

Absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was creative, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The cocktails were just as impressive, and the service was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. A must-visit in Detroit for an unforgettable dining experience.

We chose Grey Ghost Detroit before heading to the Chris Brown concert at Ford Field because they open at 4pm. Their menu is limited but everything we had was delicious. Especially the Brussel sprouts! My husband and I shared a burger with fresh cut f
Overpriced upscale bar, extremely dusty ceilings, lukewarm pork… not returning
I have been wanting to dine here for years! Overall, I found it disappointing. It is a barely upscale bar, with the prices of a nice restaurant. In other words, really overpriced. People were dressed in t-shirts and jeans, we were dressed up for the
Extravagant
Stopped in for a drink, pretty busy but we were able to sit up at tall tables in front of the bar. Be prepared to spend some $$, the sun chaser drink we ordered was definitely something. I loved that it came with a hand made tarot like card, made b
Abysmal service!!!
Disappointing Experience – Poor Service Overshadowed Everything I had high hopes for Grey Ghost Detroit given its reputation, but my visit was nothing short of disappointing. The food may draw attention, but the service completely overshadowed the
A True Foodie Experience
From the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for something special. Every bite at Grey Ghost was better than the last—an explosion of flavor, creativity, and perfectly executed dishes. The menu is a masterpiece, with each selection more tempting

We didn't have a reservation, sat at the bar, it was fabulous! Great service, interesting cocktails, delicious dinner, fun vibe!
Not worth the hype, disappointed
Took a friend of mine here for her birthday. She'd been wanting to go for years. We were very excited about it. The atmosphere was nice. There is no parking so we parked about 7 minutes away in a parking garage. When we arrived the girl at the d
TRASH.
I went here for my birthday. The drinks were decent but the food was terrible. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family. The waitress was wonderful, but if you can't even get it right for someone's birthday, when will
Create food but pricey and very slow to serve.
There is no free restaurant parking in the area. We had a waiter that is one of the best ever. We had eggplant to start and it was ok. Delivery of food was very slow and it is pricey. Very unusual food offerings. Not recommended if you are not an adv
Not What I Was Hoping For
I have wanted to try Grey Ghost for a few years now and finally had the opportunity to go, I had looked at their menu online many times in the past and it never really sounded appealing to me, but I had heard so many great things about the place. We
Good appetizers and dessert
I give Grey Ghost a borderline 4 star. Excellent service. Seating is a little tight. Did really like the fried oysters and upside down cake. Both were excellent. However, the Linguini and T bone entrees were ok. T Bone was cooked to medium rare but t
