Koi | Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year

My partner and I came to dine here for our anniversary and we had the best meal and service! Our server was so nice and attentive and did a great job at recommending items for us to enjoy. We loved the dishes we got for our entrees, the lamb chops and filet mignon. Our lychee drinks were amazing too. They were nice enough to make mine a virgin because I don't drink alcohol but love the lychee flavor. After dinner they gave us a desert for our anniversary celebration and the server offered to take a photo for us in "the best spot." Which was out on the balcony over looking the strip. He was right. He got come great pics of us to be able to hold on to the memory of the celebration and we will definitely be back! Especially for the savory and delicious lamb chops!
Any choice you pick will be guaranteed to be delicious.
Very elevated and luxurious ambiance with the standard service. The food and clean environment is what stands out for this place that is tucked away in the corner of the second floor of the Planet Hollywood casino.
Sushi was average.
Restaurant is now closed, review does not matter. Hope the next concept is better!

Pretty solid food and a comfortably classy ambiance for a nicer evening out. The food could use a little more flavor, especially the beef dishes, but overall it doesn't detract from the feeling that you're spending a pleasant dinner out.
Went to eat dinner at Koi Restaurant in Planet Hollywood
Went to eat dinner at Koi Restaurant in Planet Hollywood and everything about our dining experience was exceptional. Food and service were top tier.
TOURIST TRAP kind of restaurant.
Came here Friday night. The place was empty "Red Flag". I should have walk away but decide to stay.. the sushi was subpar and overpriced, a coffee cup size miso soup 8$ and it tasted burn. If you wanna eat good sushi go to Makino, thank me later.
Ambiance is very fancy and cozy .
. Service is good. Food is great but serving is very small and pricey .
I would Definitely give this high and sushi spot located
I would Definitely give this high and sushi spot located inside the planet Hollywood at 5/5 stars. The restaurant is located upstairs, so be looking up when walking through the casino . It is a swanky sushi spot that turns into a nightclub. The staff were fantastic and gave great suggestions, as well as help with modifications for the pickier guests. The food itself was, of course, top notch and worth the menu prices which are bit steep. They are, however, on par with other sushi spots on the strip. It was definitely a unique experience with somewhat of a smaller menu. The must try item of the night is the salmon carpaccio!

I came here with a small group on a Wednesday night before a show. Not too crowded, and the ambiance inside was pleasant and not loud. The servers and hostesses were great but it took an extremely long time to get our drinks, and the sushi came out first. The presentation was great, but I didn't think the sushi was anything to write home about and the flavor felt a bit lackluster.
It was fine
We love asian cuisine so Koi was naturally on our radar. When we showed up at around 7pm, it was quite empty and frankly it remained quite empty for most of our dinner. Food It’s fine. Honestly nothing we had was “the best” of that thing that you can get in Vegas. It was on the bland side and though I wouldn’t label it as “bad” in any sense of the word, I wouldn’t say it’s too memorable either. It’s just the lack of flavor that did it for us. Asian cuisine is known for the explosion of flavors and we just didn’t get that here. The sauces were ok btu the food was so bland that it all sort of just went “meh”. Staff Relaxed and pleasant staff. Waiter was attentive and quick. Vibe The place looks great. Very contemporary and clean vibe. Great lighting. Pretty place. Overall There are too many restaurants in Vegas to outright recommend you stop by here or make this a priority. That said, if you do stop by, it won’t be a terrible experience.
A cut above! The food is incredible.
Staff is friendly and attentive which makes for seamless service. The manager is clearly attentive and ensured we were having a pleasant experience. As for the ambiance, we came for happy hour and felt like bosses above the casino floor while we had hot sake and some of the best sushi we've ever tasted.
Happy Hour
We did the happy hour menu here twice and loved it. I think we tried everything on the menu. Everything was excellent, especially the potstickers and teriyaki shrimp. And the chicken yakitori. Kirin beer on tap, and the bartenders make an outstanding old fashion as well, according to my aficionado buddy. Excellent service.
Good
Average sushi on the strip in Vegas. Nice location, high prices (but average for the city). Menu needs to be expanded a little but what we ate was more than satisfactory.
Well worth the visit!
-our first time at this venue, I chose this because it is right beside the Criss Angel Theatre (we had plans to see the show). WOW!…what a surprisingly great surprise. The hostess, the waitstaff, the owner(?) we’re all so lovely. The food and wine were amazing as well as reasonably priced.

Ask a Question |
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue? |
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
