Molly's Restaurant & Bar Hanover Reviews from The Last Year
Molly's items are very pricey for the servings size.
I had to ask for drink refills multiple times. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. I might return to give Molly's another try but as of now, it is overpriced and slightly above fast food.
$3 Margaritas! That's enough to get me to come back.
The food is decent tavern fare., sandwiches, burgers, salads and the like. The nachos are large portions, good for three or more. The burgers come on a soft brioche bun, but have an issue of slightly too high bun to burger ratio. Solid overall choice.

We did takeout last night from Molly's as the wait time at 7pm was 45 minutes and we're glad we did not try to navigate the crowds with my mobility challenged mother-in-law as it was super crowded even picking up my takeout order (think crowds around the hostess stand pressed up 7 people deep and ten people wide). To be fair, takeout can be an inaccurate way to assess the true quality of food but I would say our food overall was just ok. Chicken cheese quesadilla - 3/5 (came with salsa, and some other sauce that seemed odd, like not sour cream, looked a bit like thousand island dressing) Fish & chips - 4/5, fish was good and a sizable portion, fries hard to know as takeout fries are never as good as the ones fresh in the restaurant A little bit of everything flat bread - 3/5 it did indeed come with a little bit of everything - pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, olives, mushrooms, onions - and maybe a little bit too much of everything because the very thin crust could not support all that was on it (and the crust was soggy as a result) Brussels sprouts salad 2/5 - I think this should not be described as a salad, it was more like a quinoa breakfast bowl - with cooked brussels sprouts, butternut squash chunks, bacon - and a tiny bit of arugula. Not a salad as I would imagine it. Maybe if I could get out of my head that this was supposed to be a salad, I would have enjoyed it more. But it was way too heavy on the quinoa and light on any greens to be called a salad in my book.
Can’t Wait to Go Back
We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcoming, comfortable place in this college town. We got seated right away for lunch at 1:00. Prompt, down to earth service. I had the Bang Bang Shrimp which I will forever crave…so tasty, all cooked perfectly. The homemade thin crust pizza was also very good. Margaritas are only $3 all day!! Their menu is extensive, you’ll be sure to find something you like here. The decor is casual and relaxed with interesting signs everywhere that catch your eye. One word… GO! You won’t be disappointed.

Awesome food and atmosphere, definitely worth the trip, great little place in the middle of town
Molly's is a great local spot with a nice vibe.
The menu is large and caters to all types of eaters. I've taken several visitors here and it's consistently good. Only con is that it's frequently crowded with long wait times.
Nice Lunch
Located on Main st right near Dartmouth campus. Molly has the feel of a college pub. The menu is pretty extensive. Two seating areas tables and high tops and booths on bar side. The pizza special “Street Corn” pizza was great! It was wood oven, thin crust and flavorful! The onion soup was okay. The margarita was on the small side .

Mollys is my favorite in the upper valley, almost all my meals were fantastic and staff and service were friendly.
Been here a few time.
Twice in the last 2 years. Food has nkt been as expected. Ordered a simple "Grass fed local beef" burger special . Requested Medium-Medium rare. Came out well done, dry, and fries were cold. Plate was hot though. $18 this burger was about $15 too much.

Food and service was great Very friendly staff and atmosphere One note of caution Be careful when parking I got a ticket for being over the line It was my fault But watch how you park
A local standby, I went on my first date back in 2000.
Hasn't changed much and that's a good thing.

They've got everything from pastas, pizzas, to burgers, as well as margs at a very affordable price. For these reasons it's no surprise that the place thrives on a college campus, but overall the food is pretty greasy and mediocre. Service is also very slow at peak times (ex: waiting for 30+ min despite making a reservation by calling ahead). Servers are very friendly and there is a lot of seating throughout the entire restaurant.
Great food and service
A great spot to eat lunch or dinner, amazing food and service. Not over priced. Very Awesome atmosphere.
Fantastic Eats!!
A++++++++ ordered for a group of 25 people. Everyone very happy with their food!! Extremely tasty food and great portion sizes.
Great food, Great Staff, fun and friendly!
I am a Tour Guide. We had problems finding a place to eat in Vermont. Mollys took all 40 of us at the last minute. Staff was wonderful, the food was great and everyone really enjoyed themselves! I eat there on my own and love it. But when they helped me and my group out, they deserved this review!
Late dinner after Dartmouth soccer game.
College town, service and food was very good. Noisy, but expected. Great downtown location. We would go back.
You must stop by if you are in Hanover
Every time I go to Hanover to visit my son at Dartmouth I HAVE to stop by Molly’s! Great atmosphere, good food, good drinks and right on Main Street. I see lots of people getting to-go orders, because the food is really good. I prefer eating in and enjoy the vibe.
Excellent!
All the food was excellent and very well prepared I highly recommend. I especially recommend the sherry tomato pasta, the sauce was delicious. Pizza was very good as well. Portions are large which is a plus
Great wood fired pizza
Stopped by for dinner to grab a couple of wood fired pizzas. They were great. The place was packed with lively diners. Salad was good and the brownie sundae was delicious. Staff very nice and quick service,
