I came into rubios about 6 days ago and got the absolute worst service I have ever had . The second I walk in there I'm greeted with dirty looks and laughter I think the girls name that took my order was Joana or something like that she gave me attitude then she calls over her employees for a question and they start laughing at me as well ignore it and wait for my food once I got my food I see that they forgot the sauce so I ask for it as they were still giggling and being rude I took the sauce and thought nothing of it once I get home I start to eat my food and I notice something slimey and clear/white and yellow thing in my sauce that I ate by accident so I call Rubios to complain or ask about what that is and they all start laughing after I told them it looked like spit the general manager wasn't any help at all either she continued to laugh at me as well and basically tell me I'm delusional ever since I ate the sauce with whatever in gods name that was (pretty sure it was a Lougee) I've been feeling really sick and they refuse to let me call HR they won't give me the number this is why kids and some adults shouldn't be working with food I did absolutely NOTHING to them for them to treat me like this they were supper condescending rude and mean I never knew ppl could be so fucked up I would post a pic of the sauce but I threw it away cause I almost threw up I should've taken a pic tho

Took my family for dinner this evening and the food was awful! The chips were stale the rice was undercooked and the tortillas were hard. Really disappointed! Feel like they were rushing instead of making food properly and fresh.

I recently visited Rubio's and ordered their shrimp classic burrito, but it was a complete letdown. The burrito was soggy, the shrimp unevenly distributed, and the beans were watery. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially considering the price.

I've been going to Rubios a few times since I started working in Irvine. Yesterday was the first time my food ever came out cold and stale. I don't think I will be returning for awhile.
I can't get enough of these beer battered shrimp tacos.
I think they taste much better with out the fresca which are the flavored tomatoes. The team was friendly and the service was quick.
I sometimes forget to give credit to where credit is due.
This place is pretty consistent with the quality and service. Rubio's original Baja fish tacos were the first I've ever tried and I compare all fish tacos to this place. Always fresh. Always delicious.

It used to be my favorite but it's just lame and overpriced for a teeny tiny portion. I'm still hungry and now I have to go somewhere else to pay even more money at 8:30 pm...

My husband and I love Rubio's, we have never had any problems until today. Aaron was very rude and unprofessional, I ordered my usual but my husband was still undecided. Aaron in a rude tone kept asking us "anything else? Anything else?" Over and over, when our order was ready we notice a bag of chips was missing (also the bag was not even half way full) I came back and in a very polite way say "Hi, we are missing a bag of chips" Aaron left without saying a word and came back with it. (One of his coworkers told him to give us an extra bag of chips and he replied nah) My husband and I said "thank you", Aaron just turned around without saying anything, I then again said THANK YOU while his back was turned on us he said OK. Perhaps this young man needs a better training on customers service or a different job. Giving two stars because the people in the back where working hard on our food.

Disappointing Experience at Rubio's Grill I recently visited Rubio's Grill on Wednesday, October 4th, around 6:15 PM, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. I had placed an order with my wife over the phone, and upon entering the store to pick it up, I was astounded by the lack of cleanliness and the unprofessional behavior exhibited by the employees manning the registers. One particular cashier, a young Spanish girl, was coughing incessantly, which made both myself and other customers feel uncomfortable. Hygiene and health protocols should be a priority, especially during these times. Furthermore, I was disappointed to learn that despite my expectation of receiving a free taco with my order, the employees refused to honor this promotional offer, claiming that I had failed to specifically request the free taco during the phone order. Even when I pointed out that my wife had also ordered and they had neglected to include the free taco in her order, they still refused to rectify the situation. This resulted in me missing out on two promised tacos. Adding to my frustration, I had received a receipt with a survey code that promised a free drink or cookie upon completion. However, when I attempted to redeem this offer, the cashier informed me that their system was not functioning properly and could not accept the coupon. This was yet another instance where the restaurant failed to deliver on their promises to a loyal customer. Seeking a resolution, I requested to speak with a manager, only to be informed that the manager, Maria, would not be available until Friday. This lack of managerial presence further added to my disappointment and left me feeling unappreciated as a long-time customer. To provide some context, I had ordered three meals, including one order of two fish tacos and two orders of two shrimp tacos. Despite spending a considerable amount of money, I did not receive any of the promised free tacos. This, coupled with the failed survey redemption, made me question the integrity of Rubio's Grill and their commitment to customer satisfaction. Additionally, the long lines and the presence of only one cashier, who was coughing without wearing a mask while handling food, added to my dissatisfaction. These observations raised serious concerns about the restaurant's adherence to health and safety guidelines. Overall, my experience at Rubio's Grill was extremely disappointing. As a regular customer, I did not expect to be treated with such disregard and subjected to what felt like a game of deception. I am writing this review to alert others, so that they may be aware of the treatment they might receive and the potential for dishonest practices at this establishment. I plan to discuss these matters with the manager and, if necessary, escalate my concerns to Rubio's Grill's corporate office. It is my hope that they address these issues promptly, rectify the situation, and ensure that other customers do not have to endure a similar experience. As someone who has frequented this restaurant two to three times a week for the past year, I am disheartened by this turn of events and sincerely hope for a satisfactory resolution. This is a response to Brad R., the Business Manager at Rubio's Grill. In your comment on my review, you asked me to contact you to discuss my concerns and promised to provide me with a complimentary meal. However, this turned out to be yet another falsehood. Instead of hearing from you directly, I received an email from the District Manager, who simply apologized for my negative experience and vaguely mentioned that my next visit might be better. There was no mention of a meal on the house, as you had claimed in your comment. Your deceptive comment was clearly intended to give the impression that you were taking appropriate action, but in reality, nothing was done. This is incredibly disappointing and has resulted in me severing ties with your establishment. It is now evident that your business engages in fraudulent practices, such as luring customers in with promises of coupons that are not honored. This is truly a shame. I am left with no choice but to file a report with the Better Business Bureau to bring attention to these unethical practices.
I walked in seen the beer off to a good start.
Cashier very friendly I ordered a cali steak burrito . Brother orders a steak Carne asada and a shrimp taco Ala carte. Total was around 45 bucks and I tip 5. 50 bucks. I got the salsa and am excited. Food sits in the window for 5-10 minutes in the window. Burrito was ice cold frys cold steak cold. Chips stale.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
