Thai Time 3 San Diego Reviews from The Last Year
I came here with my friend and we tried the Panang curry,
I came here with my friend and we tried the Panang curry, Lad Nar, and and eggplant stir fry. The food here is pretty good and flavorful. Next time I would have ordered more dishes with medium spice. The service was very quick and the workers there were friendly. The place wasn't super busy either and a good amount of seating.
First time here and I wasn't too impressed overall.
Definitely need to work on their hospitality, especially when your waiting for your order. Most places offer you water and provide accommodations for you. The food was ok, definitely need to work on their spice levels and portions. If your using inflation as a excuse to provide less then you haven't learn the golden rule. First impressions can lead to your last impression. Everyone deserves a second chance and I might visit this place again. After living in this neighborhood for 25 years, it might take me another 25 years before I revisit. You guys need to upgrade your take out containers and get rid of the cardboard. Also when you tip and take out orders and ask for condiments and received a single serve portion for 5 main dishes it's an insult.

Came around 3pm, drove about 20 minutes to this location only to be yelled at WERE CLOSED when I walk in. That's fine that you adjust hours for breaks, but edit them on google and yelp and other apps where people check so you can save people a trip. This used to be my favorite Thai place pre-covid but it's apparent they really don't care about their customers anymore.

Shared pad Thai and pad see ew lunch special with another buddy and was very tasty and good pricing! Our server was very kind and attentive.
Affordable lunch special.
The worker was really friendly. I enjoyed the pad see ew. Parking in the back lot.
Some of the best Thai food in SD.
Always get take out and they are fast. Staff is friendly and the inside has been newly remodeled.
I have never had issues with this place.
You get your basic quality Thai food here and it's always delicious and fresh. Customer service and great and if you dine in and it has an old school feel with a nice fish aquarium in the entrance. They never skimp you on the protein either which is nice. Favorite dishes are chicken pad Thai, Tom yum soup, and (the freshest) spring rolls!

they only serve "tiny, tiny, tiny portions of food" at
they only serve "tiny, tiny, tiny portions of food" at this place. whether one dines in, but especially in to go orders. they serve half or less of what they used to serve. if they keep cutting in less than half the size of the portions, but doubling $$ the price for what they serve, soon, they will run out of business. they don't even give napkins, or even forks in to go orders. i guess they expect us to eat their noodles with our fingers, either that, or get sadly dissappointed, and badly surprised to see that they didn't include a fork, or even a spoon to eat our food, much less a napkin, sirracha, or soy sauce, nothing! unfortunately, you only realize that, once you've left their business so, if you want to pay double the price $$, for a very tiny portion of food, this is definitely the place to go. it seems greediness is a priority, rather than satisfied customers. who knows? they may serve only morsels tomorrow
Probably the best Thai food I've had in all of San Diego
Probably the best Thai food I've had in all of San Diego county. The hostess Dara is one of the most friendly people you could ever have. She will make you feel like you're at home with family. They prepare the pad Thai in some of the best way I've ever had. Recommend asking for spicy beyond their max, as you will truly feel the spice and heat in the most flavorful way possible. Also, you gotta have their Thai tea, as it makes almost every meal complete. Been a loyal customer for many years, and hope to continue for the future.
Worst Thai food we have ever had....
We drove down to SD to catch a concert and saw Thai Time 3 while we were charging our car. We checked out the reviews and they were okay, so we decided to try it for dinner. We ordered the Fried Spring Rolls, Pad Thai and Yellow Curry. When the food arrived and we started to eat, it was somewhere between terrible and poor, so for others protection, I rated it terrible as we both said we'd never come back. We only ate about half of the pad thai and curry and left the rest, as neither were good. The fried spring roll was just okay, and it was the best item served. The pad thai was the worst we have ever had. It was sweet, runny and the shrimp were small, no flavor and not very many were served. Then we tried the curry, and it was worse. The chicken was really stringy, it tasted like paper and not fresh at all..it must have been precooked from a package. The curry sauce was not very flavorful either and it was really runny...when I put it on paper plate they gave us to eat off of, the curry rain all over the plate. I tried to give it some flavor by using some chili paste but the red sauce they had in the small container tasted more like mild pace salsa. There has to be better thai food in the UCSD/Mission Bay/Mission Beach part of SD....if you go to Thai Time 3, you are on your own.
