The Arrabelle at Vail Square Reviews from The Last Year
Memorable Family Ski Trip
My tween-age children and I had a fantastic stay at the Arrabelle. The staff were exceptional! From the guys at the front door who drive you around town in their Lexus SUV, to the woman making omelettes at breakfast, everyone was just lovely! We rented skis on the property and they delivered them to the base, storing them in their ski valet. It made the days so comfortable and user friendly! My boys loved the pool and hot tub area as well. Location was incredible. We could not have been closer to the gondola if we tried! There was hot chocolate and treats each evening by the fireplace which topped off the day perfectly. We appreciated all of these offerings that make one’s stay extra special. This was our 2nd time staying and would absolutely return.
Unfortunately, this was an awful hotel.
We decided to stay here (2nd time being here) for our anniversary. Summary: 5 star PRICE for 1 star amenities and service, would highly recommend giving another premium brand your time and money. There were a myriad of issues from amenities to service. We stayed 4 nights 3 days. Amenities: Our shower did not function for half of our stay. We were unable to shower in our room. We called and spoke with different front desk attendants on each occurrence. While nice, they ultimately provided 0 help other than suggesting we go and shower in the locker room/spa area (obviously highly inconvenient and far from optimal due to hours and not having your toiletries and clothes with you). This first occurred on the first morning of our trip around 8am, and the spa doesn't open until 10am. After waiting an hour, we decided not to delay skiing any further and left without showering. Not being able to shower in the evenings was also an issue. Other amenity issues: women's spa steam sauna was out of service for our whole trip and also did not have a cold plunge while the men's spa did. Only 1/2 hot tubs was in order. There was a massive leak from the ceiling in the lobby, and it was left in utter disrepair with soaked towels and dry wall on the ground for hours (pictured) right in front of the entry door. Yikes. In addition to calling on multiple occasions, we stopped by the front desk 3 times to discuss these issues and were never met by a manager. We were told a manager would contact us during our trip, however that did not occur during our trip or at any time after. Ultimately, we faced other issues pertaining to service and are really left with no recourse other than to let the general public know what they can expect if staying here. In the unlikely event you stay here and don't have issues with any basic or spa amenities, I'm sure it would be nice. However, I would not risk paying the Arrabelle holiday season premium pricing with so many other options available. I have to add that a front desk attendant removed $200 from our bill, which essentially amounts to 2 days of the daily resort fee. With basic room and spa amenities being unavailable, this was merely a gesture than any meaningful measure taken by the staff. You will have a better experience at any other comparable hotel. Thanks for reading, happy travels.

Resort wonderland
Top notch..it’s what a full-service, ‘take care of you’ resort should be. Great staff, awesome service and amenities. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. A few that come to mind: Connor at front desk, Shemeya at the omelets station, Ken and michael at the front door, Thomas and Felix in the spa. Complete relaxation. We’ve traveled a bit and this was probably our favorite getaway. Already talking about a return.

Could not recommend a better place in Vail! From the the start Joe at Valet was so welcoming and informative, Mason at Check in went out of his way to gift us a bottle of champagne for our engagement (complementary, which was not expected but greatly appreciated) The concierge also recommended Eagle Valley Sitters services while we went skiing, (Danielle at EVS was Top Tier for our 2 yr old). We skiid at Eagle Bahn and the beginner slope is actually on site so that was perfect for us. Rentals on site and a discount for staying here. We had cocktails and lunch at Vail Chophouse after skiing. Everything is here on site! The complementary daily breakfast is actually really good, and there is a playground on site for the kids. This is our first time in vail and we had the best experience here. Best experience here!
Still the best…
We celebrated our wedding anniversary by returning to the Arrabelle where we honeymooned 15 years ago. This time looked a little different with a four year old in tow but the service at the Arrabelle was impeccable per usual. Not only were they super attentive to our son and recommended lots of things we could do with him, we were also upgraded on our room and given late checkout. J.D. was amazing from the Tavern restaurant! He surprised us with a bottle of champagne to our room once he found out it was our anniversary. Felix, my massage therapist at the Arrabelle spa, was hands down my favorite. It was the most productive and informative massage I’ve ever had and I have had more massages than I can count. He is a gem and full of knowledge about the muscles, breath work and more! Also the breakfast is worth mentioning as it was excellent to be included in the room rate with lots of made to order items as well. The main reason we returned to the Arrabelle, outside of the beautiful Vail surroundings, was the impeccable service. The Arrabelle holds a special place in our hearts. Ten out of ten recommend.
Outstanding
Beautiful suite. Absolutely outstanding service. Great location in Lionshead. Great, GREAT spot. We got relocated as Lodge at Vail got overbooked. I couldn’t have been happier with the choice. I will stay here next time for sure.
Fall Vail Getaway
We had a wonderful 4 nights stay. Top mentions have to go the valet staff. Based on their recommendations, we did two fantastic hikes. The Lexus shuttle service is a nice amenity. We utilized it at night for dinner reservations to Vail Village. Our room was spacious, clean and very quiet. Complimentary breakfast and the espresso and soda water machines topped off our wonderful stay.
Superior luxury accommodations in Vail Village.
Excellent location, outstanding service. Shuttle. Roof pool. Super staff. Enjoyed my too brief stay! I'd go back anytime. Arabella is owned by Vail Resorts, and was founded by the Rock. Not that Rock; the original -- Rockefeller.
Arrobelle Hotel 5 star plus
The staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect!! They have an iPad in your room to make requests for ice, toiletries, reservations etc. We ordered ice just as we were about to check out. Our time was limited, and I called the front desk. The manager, Natalie, said she would personally bring it, and she did immediately!! The the valet parking staff was extra helpful. A couple of the guys had played the same golf courses we did, and they gave us extra knowledge of the. Joe Borawskl offered to make us a tee time at a strictly private course. A waitress at the Tavern told us about a nearby restaurant where we celebrated my birthday!! It was called Chophouse and was excellent. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was outstanding!! It had inside and outside seating which was very nice!!
Best place to stay in Vail Village
We absolutely loved our stay at the Arrabelle. Not only was it one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in, the location was phenomenal and the staff was truly exceptional. The rooms were well appointed, spacious, and the beds were so comfortable! Truly a top notch experience start to finish and we will definitely be back!
Zero Respect for Customer Privacy
Zero respect for customer privacy. Been known to tease paying customers with an upgrade then take it away from them. Good luck getting any sort of refund, my friend was lucky to get 50% back. There are a lot of places to stay in the area, I will never stay here.

Quite possibly the worst customer service experience I've ever had with a hotel. Dirty room, rude staff, and walls as thing as paper.
Our Favorite Hotel in Vail
We travel to Vail every July for a figure skating competition, and the Arrabelle is our favorite hotel there. The property is beautiful, the rooms are clean, quiet, and spacious, and we loved all of the little extras like the heated bathroom floors and the afternoon pastries in the lobby. The staff was kind and courteous, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The Tavern restaurant is my daughter's favorite in Vail. We ate there numerous times during our stay, and got to know the staff. The staff members were so kind and thoughtful, and two of them even came to watch my daughter's figure skating competition, which meant a lot to us!
Dream Location / Vacation
The Arrabelle never disappoints - great service, beautiful views, safe, comfortable and all things perfect! It is seconds from great skiing in the winter or great hiking in the summer. We never needed a car - everything is so assessable to the hotel. Love this place!
Great stay at an amazing property.
Everything was perfect. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Clean rooms, excellent amenities and comfortable beds. The food in the restaurant is fantastic.
