Memorable Family Ski Trip
My tween-age children and I had a fantastic stay at the Arrabelle. The staff were exceptional! From the guys at the front door who drive you around town in their Lexus SUV, to the woman making omelettes at breakfast, everyone was just lovely! We rented skis on the property and they delivered them to the base, storing them in their ski valet. It made the days so comfortable and user friendly! My boys loved the pool and hot tub area as well. Location was incredible. We could not have been closer to the gondola if we tried! There was hot chocolate and treats each evening by the fireplace which topped off the day perfectly. We appreciated all of these offerings that make one’s stay extra special. This was our 2nd time staying and would absolutely return.

Top notch..it’s what a full-service, ‘take care of you’ resort should be. Great staff, awesome service and amenities. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. A few that come to mind: Connor at front desk, Shemeya at the omelets station, Ken and michael at the front door, Thomas and Felix in the spa. Complete relaxation. We’ve traveled a bit and this was probably our favorite getaway. Already talking about a return.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary by returning to the Arrabelle where we honeymooned 15 years ago. This time looked a little different with a four year old in tow but the service at the Arrabelle was impeccable per usual. Not only were they super attentive to our son and recommended lots of things we could do with him, we were also upgraded on our room and given late checkout. J.D. was amazing from the Tavern restaurant! He surprised us with a bottle of champagne to our room once he found out it was our anniversary. Felix, my massage therapist at the Arrabelle spa, was hands down my favorite. It was the most productive and informative massage I’ve ever had and I have had more massages than I can count. He is a gem and full of knowledge about the muscles, breath work and more! Also the breakfast is worth mentioning as it was excellent to be included in the room rate with lots of made to order items as well. The main reason we returned to the Arrabelle, outside of the beautiful Vail surroundings, was the impeccable service. The Arrabelle holds a special place in our hearts. Ten out of ten recommend.

Beautiful suite. Absolutely outstanding service. Great location in Lionshead. Great, GREAT spot. We got relocated as Lodge at Vail got overbooked. I couldn’t have been happier with the choice. I will stay here next time for sure.

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay. Top mentions have to go the valet staff. Based on their recommendations, we did two fantastic hikes. The Lexus shuttle service is a nice amenity. We utilized it at night for dinner reservations to Vail Village. Our room was spacious, clean and very quiet. Complimentary breakfast and the espresso and soda water machines topped off our wonderful stay.

The staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect!! They have an iPad in your room to make requests for ice, toiletries, reservations etc. We ordered ice just as we were about to check out. Our time was limited, and I called the front desk. The manager, Natalie, said she would personally bring it, and she did immediately!! The the valet parking staff was extra helpful. A couple of the guys had played the same golf courses we did, and they gave us extra knowledge of the. Joe Borawskl offered to make us a tee time at a strictly private course. A waitress at the Tavern told us about a nearby restaurant where we celebrated my birthday!! It was called Chophouse and was excellent. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was outstanding!! It had inside and outside seating which was very nice!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Arrabelle. Not only was it one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in, the location was phenomenal and the staff was truly exceptional. The rooms were well appointed, spacious, and the beds were so comfortable! Truly a top notch experience start to finish and we will definitely be back!

Zero respect for customer privacy. Been known to tease paying customers with an upgrade then take it away from them. Good luck getting any sort of refund, my friend was lucky to get 50% back. There are a lot of places to stay in the area, I will never stay here.
Be the first to ReplyOur Favorite Hotel in Vail
We travel to Vail every July for a figure skating competition, and the Arrabelle is our favorite hotel there. The property is beautiful, the rooms are clean, quiet, and spacious, and we loved all of the little extras like the heated bathroom floors and the afternoon pastries in the lobby. The staff was kind and courteous, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The Tavern restaurant is my daughter's favorite in Vail. We ate there numerous times during our stay, and got to know the staff. The staff members were so kind and thoughtful, and two of them even came to watch my daughter's figure skating competition, which meant a lot to us!

The Arrabelle never disappoints - great service, beautiful views, safe, comfortable and all things perfect! It is seconds from great skiing in the winter or great hiking in the summer. We never needed a car - everything is so assessable to the hotel. Love this place!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Experience
I recently stayed at the Arrabelle with my family and it was a great experience. The location is right in the middle of Lionshead, and right next to restaurants and cafés. The proximity to the ski lifts and gondola, as well as the ski valet are a major plus if you plan to ski or snowboard.

Our room has a High-End look with extremely comfortable beds. The bathroom has a shower and nice soaking tub. The balcony floor was heated so we could sit out there and enjoy during the falling snow. The roof top view from the hot tub was magnificent!

Hotel was beautiful. The location was very convenient and truly ski in ski out. The hotel staff was great. We were upgraded to a two bedroom condo as the room class we booked was oversold. Their solution exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay there again in the future
Be the first to ReplyLots of good, mixed with some caveats
First, it's staggering that the rooms at the Arrabelle have gone from about $440/night in Dec 2019, our last stay, to about $1250/night for the same room class (king deluxe) on this trip. There haven't been any corresponding renovations that could possibly explain it so I guess they're just charging more because the lux hotel market in Vail is so cornered? Not sure. The good: location, location, location. Perfectly situation at the base of the Lionshead slopes. They also have a "ski valet" who will have your skis (rentals, etc) ready for you to pickup near the slopes/gondola. The bad: If you're a European traveler, this won't make much difference to you, but the service from the European staff is mostly indifferent. American travelers, however, will notice. If you're lucky, you'll get an American server in the Tavern Square restaurant and in that case, you'll get standard American friendliness. If you get one of the European servers, you won't. Again, just depends on what you're used to. But for a $1250/night hotel, you'd like to them to lean more in the American direction of service. Only seems to be an issue in the restaurant, however.

I planned a surprise trip for my husband’s birthday around his two favorite things: Christmas and cold weather. The Arrabelle at Vail was perfect!! Upon arrival, Ken was the most friendly and personable bellman to help us with our things. Everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful. It was the perfect surprise!

What a great experience! We stayed in a beautiful 2 bedroom residence and couldn't have been happier. Everyone from the bell staff to the staff at breakfast were wonderful. We had great weather and even enjoyed the pool, what a view. Would certainly return.

The beed was excellent and they had all types of perks for your stay, the food was excellent and the transportation to Vail Village 24/7 was executed as well in a very short time, beautiful views and excellent accommodations!

Professional and friendly staff from check in to checkout. Beautiful hotel right at the base of the mountain. Room and hotel amenities over exceeded expectations. Can not wait to stay at the Arrabelle again
Be the first to ReplyThe Amazing Arrabelle!
The Arrabelle is a beautiful hotel and spa! The massage was the best I've ever had, his name is Felix and he's magical. The steam room, jacuzzi and oxygen room place you in a complete state of Zen. The staff go way above and beyond and every one of them seem to genuinely love their job. Jeff, Ben, Grant and Dante were all super kind, helpful, quick, informative, and funny! We loved their energy! They all made it a point to be accommodating and provide whatever service we needed almost immediately. The customer service among all of the staff was top notch - it's very clear that they all love what they do, and they love ensuring your stay at the Arrabelle is as pleasant, fun and safe as possible. I can't wait to come back!!

Located in the center of Lions Head Square, just steps from the gondola, the Arribelle is an amazing Hotel in & of itself, with beautiful architecture & classic furnishings. But what really impressed us was the hospitality, professionalism, & warmth of the staff, from the baggage & valet crew in the Porte cochere, to the cheerful front desk clerk, to the food & beverage staff in the restaurant to the guest room attendants, & spa therapists. We checked in on April 10th 2022, & stayed for 3 wonderful nights. Here are some examples of how the Arribelle staff went above & beyond for us. We wanted my wife's skis waxed, but it was late afternoon & the ski shop was closing. The valet attendant told her not to worry, that he knew the ski tech, & would personally run her skis over to the shop, & bring them back in the morning. Sure enough, when she went out to valet the next day, her skis were freshly waxed, & serviced. We loved the breakfast buffet, but I wanted some of the soppressata mixed into my omelet. No problem! They took care of it for me. Our guest room attendant brought us slippers up to the pool when I forgot mine, & made sure our water was stocked, & ice bucket was full. Samantha, our massage therapist, was nothing short of stellar. She delivered the best massages my wife & I ever had, & that's saying something because we've experienced massage from all over the US & Asia. Samantha was the BEST! I can't wait to return this winter for more wonderful pampering by the great folks at the Arribelle Hotel!

It was the first time at the Arrabelle and we were so impressed that we will make it our go-to annual birthday trip! Lana and Antonio were friendly and so very helpful. The food for breakfast was outstanding, the roof-top pool has incredible views and our room was extremely comfortable.
Be the first to Reply$700+ room without hot water in the midst of winter and 5+ calls for resolution
We were so excited to spend a week at the Arabelle. We were big skiers and had the experience being good, would've wanted to return here regularly. However, we didn't feel that the Arabelle value its customers. The staff often overpromised (or lied?) and underdelivered. For the price and the branding, our experience with the staff was simply unacceptable and some might argue that the staff's outright lies were unethical.
The types of interactions we experienced should never have occurred anywhere within hospitality, let alone at a so called "top notch" resort:
- We were promised champagne by the concierge prior to check-in and was instead given two drink vouchers that can only be obtained after purchasing a meal at the Tavern.
- The hot water was stopped towards the end of our trip (Feb 4th). No hot water at a ski resort in middle of winter! My husband spent the entire afternoon calling/waiting for resolution while the front desk staff gave non-committal responses as to when the situation will be resolved.
- 5 hours later we went down to speak directly to the front desk. We were still given non-committal responses. To Arabelle's credit, they waived our lunch.
- 8 hours later we were told after calling that the entire Vail didn't have hot water...seemed a bit fishy since the hot tub upstairs was working fine.
- The next day when we checked out, Andrew at the front desk (who was there morning of Feb 5th) told us that all our resort fees for our entire stay would be waived. We found out after we got home that it was a complete LIE. This made us feel that Andrew just wanted to dismiss us and pushed the problem onto the next person.
- After several back and forth with the Arabelle, the final invoice we promised/received did not match with the credit back to our credit card, causing us more back and forth with the credit card company WEEKS after we checked out.
- We were promised by several staff member that the manager would be contacting us for resolutions and no one had called. When we finally called and spoke with a manager (Dante), he claimed it was the first time he was informed of this problem.
We completely understand the glitches happen. But how Arabelle staff handled the situation was very disappointing. We felt we were often given lip services.
Stay here if you want to risk spending hours trying to work with the Arabelle for resolutions in the event of a problem; weeks after the trip.
No Hot Water for 2 Days and No Communication
My wife and I chose the Arrrabelle for our honeymoon. Unfortunately, our experience was not great for the quality and price of the hotel. We did not have hot water for 2 days. The staff, including management did not take any steps to resolve the issue for us. We repeatedly called the front desk, asked to speak with management or anyone that could help us. We received inconsistent communication and treatment. Promises to refund us the resort fees for the 2 days without hot water we’re not kept. This is not how we wanted to spend our honeymoon.
Be the first to ReplyTop Notch Service/True Ski in/Ski Out/Luxury Resort!!
If you’re looking for top notch service, luxury amenities & a true ski in/ski out- this is your resort. Before ever stepping foot in the resort the Concierge went above and beyond to ensure we had everything taken care of for our large group of families traveling together for Winter Break. It was 11 of us all with children ages 5-7 years old. My family and I booked through American Express- Fine Hotels and Resorts. The moment we arrived from Eagle we knew this was going to be a trip of a lifetime! Lana & Arianna at the conceirge desk greeted us with big smiles and welcoming hello’s as we walked in from valet for the first time. We arrived around 12:30PM, earlier than normal check-in time of 4PM. Donte at the front desk surprised us with the ability to get us into our room early, anyone who has traveled with small children knows is priceless! We were escorted to a stunning and expansive 2 bedroom residence on the 4th floor fully appointed for our week long stay. No request was too big or too small. The team at the Arrabelle had it covered. The kids really enjoyed the hot cookies and cocoa every afternoon and mom really enjoyed the little splash of Bailey’s inside. When you step out of the resort you’re in Vail Square. Restaurants, shops, general store, equipment rentals and the beautiful mountain are all just a few steps away. The ski Valet went above and beyond to ensure everything was smooth sailing for us. We rented our ski’s at Vail Sport a partner of the Arrabelle and received a 20% discount just for being a guest of the Arrabelle. The best part is no lugging equipment when you stay here. Vail Sports valeted our equipment to the Arrabelle Ski Valet at the gondola after our fittings. In the morning we enjoyed complimentary breakfast for our family in Tavern and headed to the Ski Valet right outside the resort at the base of the mountain. When we arrived at Ski Valet the wonderful staff greeted us with smiles, warm boots and our bin full with everything that we needed to enjoy the fresh snow that had just fallen on the mountain. The kids went to ski school which is also right outside the Ski Valet, so it was so easy getting them booted up and off in the morning. We stay in a lot of nice resorts and The Arrabelle is at the top. We will be back next year and plan on making this our annual winter break destination for many years to come!! Thank you to the Arrabelle team for going above and beyond and a special thank you to Lana, Arianna, Leah and Donte!!
