One of my favorite Indian restaurants in the city!! Rooh is
One of my favorite Indian restaurants in the city!! Rooh is more of an upscale, modern take on Indian food and the ambiance is amazing, the servers are friendly and the food is incredible. Been here several times and would definitely bring out of town guests here. For apps - The Chili cheese kulcha is my favorite thing and we never come here without ordering at least one of these. The sweet potato chaat is also a must try - so unique and tasty. The garlic naan with Paneer Pasada or butter chicken is delicious and you can't go wrong with either of these options. The gravy in these dishes is sooo creamy and the chicken is cooked perfectly. The cocktails are really good and have fun Indian twists / ingredients in them, and for dessert the mango sorbet tastes just like frozen rus (alphonso mangos). Everything is so so good 10/10 recommend!

Rooh Chicago is a must-try for anyone seeking a unique and upscale take on Indian cuisine. Chef Rohit Chaudhary's innovative dishes are a delightful exploration of flavors, and the stylish ambiance provides the perfect setting for a special occasion. While the portion sizes on some small plates may be smaller and the price point a bit higher, the overall experience makes it a worthwhile visit. While perfect for sharing, the portion sizes on some of the small plates can be on the smaller side. Pricing is upscale casual, with small plates ranging from $12 to $20 and entrees from $25 to $40. The atmosphere is elegant and modern, with a vibrant energy that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience.
Came here for birthday celebrations and had a great time.
They gave us a pretty large both for us two people, it was nice to have the space to spread out! The waiter was super sweet and walked us through the whole menu. Here is what we got: Drinks: - Malabar old fashioned - great drink, alcohol forward with good flavors delicious - Road to Kerala - (not a fan of banana) so was worried about the banana but you couldn't really taste that flavor, would definitely recommend -chili cheese kulcha - very tasty and a lil spicy, if you like bread and cheese (who doesn't?) get this - sweet potato chaat - this one kind of surprised me and was honestly one of my favorite dishes that we ordered - kerala chicken - perfectly crispy and spicy -bagara baingan- pretty good, was giving Thai peanut curry They also brought out a birthday ice cream, which was also good. Really enjoyed the meal and would come back when we visit Chicago again.
Went to Rooh for dinner and not bad for Wednesday night.
We made reservations and never a bad idea to do so for this place. It was packed mostly after hours office crowd and business meeting related dinner crowd. We reached early and were asked to wait at the bar. We sat in the bar and ordered the drinks. The drinks were non alcoholic so relally didn't enjoy them much. Will give 2.5/5. Food. Small plates, cheese kulcha: 5/5 Jackfruit Cutlet: 4/5 tip this should be made in 2 portions instead of one. Might make it easy to eat without destructing the dish. Mains: Paneer Pasanda: 5/5 nice gravy and cottage cheese was soft and well cooked. Saffron Rice: 3.5/5 nothing extraordinary. Just regular boiled rice with saffron strands. Garlic Naan: 4/5 very small size but good. Dal Makhani: 4/5 nice dal but was little watery. It is supposed to be thick. Dessert: paysam( rice pudding) 5/5 best part. It was perfectly sweet. If you are looking for a light dessert less sweet this is the best options. Served chilled with fruits on top( little modernized than traditionally done paysam. I would rather prefer nuts over strawberries and berries) Good food. I will recommend but probably may not go back soon since there are so many more to go and try and menu is also limited.
I went here again with my girlfriends.
In Drinks, we started with Nagpur Narangi, Pink city Mocktail and Hibiscus tea. I loved the Pink city mock-tail. For appetizers we had chilli cheese kulcha, sweet potato chaat and Grilled prawns. All the appetizers were tasty. For Mains we ordered Paneer Pasanda, Scottish Salmon Pulusu and Lamb Shank Nihari. The food was just delicious and amazing. The ambiance was chill. Our server was very polite and attentive. There is valet parking in case you need help with parking as it's located in a very busy area. Or else you can parallel park on the streets if you can get lucky finding a spot. I would highly recommend this place!
My boyfriend and I recently dropped in on a Friday night
My boyfriend and I recently dropped in on a Friday night for pre-dinner drinks and appetizers while awaiting our reservation at a nearby Ramen spot. Even though there were a lot of tables available, the attendant offered us bar seats stating they are at full capacity. We ordered Dahi ke Kebab and Green Pea Kulcha (without goat cheese) along with Habanero sauce. The food was very good. They offered a fusion twist to Indian dishes which we liked. The Habanero sauce was VERY spicy, even though the server warned us, we wanted to challenge ourselves and no regrets there! They have a wide range of fusion cocktails - I ordered a Hara Spritz which was about average. I felt the drink was tad bit diluted, lacking the desired alcoholic kick. We also ordered a pistachio gelato, because why not?! It was really good and we loved the earthy nutty undertones. Rooh has been on my list since a while and I'm glad we could try a few things from their menu, will definitely come back to try more dishes. P.S. They have a vegan section on their menu and a lot of dishes can be customised, so definitely ask your server for options!
Perfect every time! Our favorite place in the west loop.
Everything is so flavorful and indulgent. Service is always awesome as well! No flaws, 10/10
we walked in for a last-minute reservation so they sat us
we walked in for a last-minute reservation so they sat us at the bar which is no problem, but we ordered from the vegan menu and asked for specifically the vegan potato chaat and vegan cauliflower entree. The bartender seemed confused and said smth like to me that everything was vegan anyway and I said okay that's fine just the vegan stuff then for those two. when it came it very much was not vegan and my stomach started hurting immediately so I asked a waitress walking by and she told me that she was really apologetic and that there must've been a language barrier, but neither of those things were vegan and that she would ask the manager to comp our meal or remake it if we wanted. i told her she didn't need to remake it since we already ate some of it and my boyfriend could eat it even if i couldn't (plus my stomach was already hurting at that point) and that it wasn't the biggest deal since thankfully it wasn't an allergy but i'm lactose intolerant. the manager then came over after a few minutes, and proceeded to question if I was really lactose intolerant bc we had ordered the butter naan - (which is a wild thing to do bc if you know anyone who's lactose intolerant they can eat certain things and we ordered the butter naan but we did NOT order non vegan entrees!!) and then manager also said the bartender "thought i said vegetarian" which is a lie as i said vegan 3x and i don't believe they even have a vegetarian menu? He then comp'd only the sauce, naan and side of rice we got (a total of ~$14) - neither of the two dishes. I don't care about the $ but that's just bad practice. Manager should've taken responsibility for the bartenders mistake even if it was a language barrier. My BF and friends are from Chicago and highly recommended this place. The waitress who we spoke to first was so sweet and I don't blame the bartender bc clearly higher up didn't educate her about the menu options but the customer service from the manager was atrocious and none of us will return.
I've been to the Rooh location in Palo Alto and was so
I've been to the Rooh location in Palo Alto and was so excited to try the Chicago location. I can certainly say it did not disappoint!! Ambiance: the interior of the restaurant is stunning! They have a beautiful mural by the bar area and the lighting stems from several gorgeous chandeliers. Service: our server was very friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly and hot. No complaints! Food + Drink: Pink City - perfectly spicy and salty! If you like margaritas you will enjoy this cocktail. Jack Fruit Cutlet & Sabudana Cutlet - the jack fruit was so savory and tasty! The sabudana had a nice spice to it and a soft + chewy texture. Chili Cheese & Green Pea Kulcha - both are excellent! The green pea is tangy and fresh, whereas the chili is filled with gooey cheese to offset the spice. Paneer Pasanda - elevated version of a butter paneer. Delicious! Tandoor Cauliflower - the curry had a nutty flavor and the cauliflower was smoky and tender. So good! Saffron Cheesecake - so soft with the perfect amount of sweetness. The cardamom/nutmeg/rose flavor perfectly compliments the cheesecake. TL;DR - A fantastic choice for upscale Indian! Service is excellent and the interior is beautiful. My personal favorites are the Jackfruit Cutlets, Paneer Pasanda, and Green Pea Kulcha!

We had very helpful service throughout the evening and dishes were really flavorful - the dal was incredible! Overall fun spot for a casual dinner but not a top favorite for Indian food just yet

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.

Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here

Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
